Frankly, I'd be astonished if Zionist israel DIDN'T have a plan to invade the Sinai; they've done it twice already, so they're well practiced. All nation's militaries make plans for "unthinkable scenarios" just in case they suddenly become "thinkable".

Al-Sissi is losing the plot in Egypt, however, massive repression doesn't work, he just needs to look at Assad's regime in Syria for confirmation of that. I predict he's likely to lose power in the next 12-18 months or be assassinated. Should that happen and Egypt goes into meltdown, the Zionists might risk an adventure to create a "buffer zone" a la Lebanon, but that would involve them in a medium to long term occupation of Egyptian territory and provoke increased radicalisation within Egypt.

Who knows, the Zionist could be that stupid.

So, about this "news-brief" that you posted: ISIS has somehow made inroads into Sinai, which is dangerous for both Israel and Egypt. But Israel and Sisi in Egypt now have an alliance. I'm sure Israel is providing some background support, but it will be Egypt that will hopefully flush them out of there. If you've been keeping up with the news, ISIS has been attacking Egyptian bases. Now, if ISIS should shoot into Israel, they will probably strike back, after consulting with the Egyptians. But Israel would have no motive to annex Sinai at this point, especially considering the alliance with Egypt. There isn't even a religious motive, since Sinai wasn't part of ancient Israel.

I see it being more of an escalation. Iran is a Russian ally. If Israel were to bomb them, Russia would come to their aid militarily, just like the US would come to Israel's.

Or Israel could target a Russian ship in Syria. And Russia would respond with a missile of their own. Israel thinks it can do whatever it pleases in the ME. That's going to provoke someone they can't beat, if they keep taking land that isn't their's.
