Israel Campaigns Against Global Free Speech

I have no Islamic terrorist heroes. I would prefer that conflicts could be settled peacefully. However, the occupied have a right to resist and it is declared in various UN Resolutions including:

It's not odd at all that confuse Islamic terrorist with "resistance".

Islamic terrorism carries consequences.

Gaza crisis: Toll of operations in Gaza - BBC News

"Between 8 July and 27 August, more than 2,100 Palestinians were killed in the Gaza Strip...."

That is called Israeli terrorism.

That's called an Islamic terrorist beat-down.

No. It's called child murder.

Actually, your islamic terrorist heroes call it martyrdom™.

It seems the martyrdom'ees are not always willing participants but the matyrdom'ers make the considered decision that women and children make for better propaganda.

How lucky for you that your Islamic terrorist heroes do your loathsome bidding so you can flail your Pom Poms.

Alarmed at the rise of perceived anti-Semitism and anti-Israeli sentiments on the internet, Israeli politicians recently called for nations around the world to enact legislation prohibiting criticism of Jews and Israel. Lobbying to outlaw global free speech is nothing new for Israel, however; it has been in the business of criminalizing speech for decades.

Israel is in the precarious position of receiving tens of billions of dollars in aid every year from nations that purport to support democracy, while simultaneously oppressing the Palestinian people and perpetrating what Nobel Peace Prize winners Bishop Desmond Tutu and President Jimmy Carter deem an apartheid. If the American or European people ever knew that their tax dollars where being used in such a way they would surely cut Israel off. In order to conceal this truth and stifle any criticism, Israel and its lobbyists rely on sympathy from the Holocaust and labels of anti-Semitism to discredit critics. Even US Secretary of State John Kerry was recently called an anti-Semite for supporting a peaceful resolution to the Jewish/Palestinian conflict. Kerry is not alone however, President Obama, and just about anyone who has ever opposed an Israeli policy has been labeled anti-Semitic by his enemies. In order to add teeth to these labels, Israel lobbyists around the world lobby endlessly to criminalize anti-Semitism and Holocaust denial.

Israel’s threat of forcing world governments to enact new laws against free speech should not be taken lightly. Israel and its lobbyists have already succeeded in enacting stiff anti-racist laws in most Western countries. These laws have been used on numerous occasions to jail academics, pro-Palestinian activists, and also individuals who have spoken provable facts that are deemedanti-Semitic “canards.”

In Australia, Jewish groups lobbied successfully to outlaw holocaust study and “hate speech.” As with most laws regulating speech and academic study, it has been routinely abused, and isnow on the list for repeal. In fact, the law is so tied to Jewish lobbying, that the Jewish newspaper Haaretz published an article: Australian Jews brace for a fight against the repeal of hate laws.

In Canada, Jewish groups lobbied for the enactment of hate speech regulation, and defend itsuse today. In 1983, Israel lobbyists filed a complaint against Ernst Zundal over a book he had written. He was tried several times, his citizenship application in Canada denied (even though he had resided there for decades), he was detained for two years without trial, and eventually deported to Germany where he was sentenced to 5 years imprisonment.

In France, Israel lobbyists publicly complained about comedian Dieudonne’s parodies of Israel and the holocaust. His home was raided, his shows banned, and hefty fines were imposed. England also followed suit and barred Dieudonne’s entrance into the country. In 2003, the French legislator and Israel lobbyist Pierre Lellouche managed to push through a law which extends the definition of discrimination to include nationalities so anti-Israel activists could be jailed. In 2009, the Lellouche law was used to convict 20 anti-Israel activists.

In England, Jewish lobbying efforts successfully enacted strict hate speech laws, and inAustria, acclaimed historian David Irving was incarcerated after Israel lobbyists complained about his academic work. The European Jewish Parliament and the chief Israel lobbyist in Belgium recently called for similar laws to stifle criticism of Israel. According to the Canadian Jewish Newsarticle French Vigilance on anti-Israel speech provoking backlash, Israel lobbyists are also attempting to enact similar legislation in the Netherlands.

In America, the Israel lobby has been fighting mightily for years to prohibit hate speech. Those efforts have been unsuccessful thus far, but they have managed to enact hate crime legislation. As Abe Foxman of the ADL noted, the social consequences in America for bigotry against Jews are so severe, (given disproportionate Jewish influence in government, media, finance, higher education, professional sports, etc…) that anti-Israel speakers often see graver consequences than the criminal sanctions they would face in Europe. For example, if one were to be labeled an “anti-Semite,” even if the allegations were wholly unsubstantiated, he would most likely be fired and ostracized from society.

One has to realize that Israel’s efforts having nothing to do with hate speech, anti-Semitism or holocaust denial, but are rather about stifling critical speech that affects Israel and its lobbyists. For example, we know that Israel and its lobbyists are not offended by holocaust denial because Israel and its lobbyists are the leading proponents of Armenian holocaust denial in the world today. Israel should also not be particularly offended by anti-Semitism, because Israel is actually one of the most racist and anti-Semitic nations on the planet.

Today, Israel is furiously enacting anti-free speech laws, hiring internet trolls to spread propaganda and disinformation, and even asking the Jewish owners of social media websites Facebook, Wikipedia, Google, and Youtube to remove material Israel does not like, regardless of its truth or merit. Israel has also campaigned against political parties it does not like in Greece, Hungary, and Ukraine. In Greece, the anti-Israel Golden Dawn Party was disbanded and its leaders arrested for no legal reason. This is a dangerous precedent that threatens world wide freedom and must be combated immediately, before speaking out against such Israeli efforts is also illegal.

It's got worse over here recently, a mad media frenzy about a Labour MPs tweets (before she became a Labour MP). A blatant attempt to stiffle debate and playing the "Holocaust" and "Anti-Semite" cards for all they're worth. The right wing media are loving it. Naz Shah, Labour anti-Semitism... and a piece of spin that will make your jaw drop

Whatever, dood.

Combat in Saudi Arabia? When was that? Ha ha ha.

I see that plaque with Arabic writing that you've whited out the top because it has your Muslim name due to conversion during your service abroad. It happens.

I went to Saudi with the Corps after serving a tour in Vietnam. The plaque is from the entrance of my villa it is in English and Arabic. Officer's quarters were individual villas in Saudi.

Serving in the U.S. Army is not something you dual loyalty types do, is it.
Noooo, Joooish traitors never serve or have served in the US military, now do they? Ha ha ha.
There are currently over 150 types of dual (and triple) citizens living in the US so I assume by "dual citizen" you are referring to the usual antisemitic canard that goes on among neo Nazi groups and in Islamic shitholes.

You are debasing your service and insulting all those who have served with your anti Americanism and bigotry. Most vets in fact, without a question are strong supporters of Israel.

Most veterans support the U.S., not Israel, and most veterans remember the Liberty. I am talking about those with dual nationality. Can't be trusted whether Jew or Muslim or Christian.

Over the last three weeks, we at Iraq Veterans Against the War (IVAW) have watched with dread the endless bombing of Gaza, leading to the senseless killing of now more than 1,300 Palestinians and the destruction of their homes, lives and livelihoods.

In the past we have announced our support of the right to self-determination for Palestinians, alongside our firm conviction of the illegality and dehumanizing nature of the blockade of Gaza and the occupation of the West Bank. This moment is no different.

The US government has continually provided arms and money to Israel to the tune of $3.1 billion per year. It is our own country’s weaponry that is causing the deaths of entire families in Gaza. We see it as our duty to resist the steady grinding militarization of our foreign and domestic policies and we stand in solidarity with those resisting the same efforts overseas, both the Palestinian people and the Israeli reservists who have refused to serve in this conflict."

And it proved that muslims are Jew haters by her words. She should have been vetted before being selected so that her past would not come back to haunt her. Just shows how vile the left is now, and how it is taking on anyone that emulates the National Socialist workers party of Germany ideology

I have NO right to post here. I am not either Palestinian or Israeli, So take my post with a grain of salt. I identify with the Israelis, Shalom!. I understand why Jews tend to over react. For all the struggles for them to fit into European society for thousands of years,, ...they were nearly exterminated. IF the Palestinians would just learn to coexist with the Jews, just accept them, there wouldn't be an issue. Israel isn't in the business of extermination, heavy handed with retaliation or self protection, perhaps. I totally understand that.
What a silly post Palestinians and Jews got on well since the Romans left Palestine, that was until the early 1900's when the Zionists came onto the scene, you need a lesson in history lady..................The Zionist wouldn't CO-EXIST with the Palestinians actually and this Schism and Open Sore today was created by Terrorist Zionists......you really shouldn't post comments from a position of ignorance and Zionist Propaganda.....because it is untrue AKA Bullshit.HIM Theliq

Try reading wiki for a change and see when ionism was invented, and when the first Zionists migrated to Palestine. And don't forget they were invited by the lands legal owners, they did not invade. Then look at the hundreds f reported attacks on the Jews since 635 C.E. by the muslim hordes

Ya gotta love it! Muslims, Palestinians, and Arabs, the worst human rights violators, oppressors, and thuggish theocratic terroristic regimes, PREACHING THE WORLD ABOUT "FREE SPEECH"!! Ha ha ha.
What about when America had slaves and Lynched Black People Roudy......I suppose to you thought they were good human rights???..steve

Any different to the Aussies who had slaves an hung the black feller. Isnt that your normal name for the Aborigines.

Still haven't said sorry for all the atrocities carried out, are you afraid of what the world will think of you antipodean criminals if you do ?

That's what dual allegiance does. They prefer going to war for Israel than for the United States. Not something to be proud of.
Your reading comprehension skills are lacking. Not something to be proud of.

From the first paragraph:

Americans, who may serve in foreign armies without losing their U.S. citizenship, have a long tradition of fighting in other countries' conflicts. Thousands joined the Abraham Lincoln Brigade to battle the fascist forces of Gen. Francisco Franco in Spain. Hundreds signed up with the Canadian military to fight in Europe before the United States entered World War I, and again before the U.S. entered World War II.

I know, right? If only you had paid attention.
Well you are right Hollie,Americans do fight for other countries.....they are called Mercenaries......they Murder for Money.....I'm always Right and I know it.

And some as in the cases provided did so out of a sense of what was right. They enlisted as ordinary soldiers not as mercenaries, and fought for the good of mankind

Why do you say I love to hate Americans? I am an American and a veteran at that. I don't like people with dual allegiances, can't be trusted.

There were Americans that joined the German Army to fight the Russian communists, when the U.S. was still neutral.

LIke you with your allegiance to the Catholic church you mean. I wonder which side you would fight on if it came to a war between the Catholics and America ?
