there is lot of muslims and just few mosques, creating new mosques is not easy in France.

I think Europeans are making a big mistake pandering to the demands of an ALIEN culture.

The French need a place to be French just as much as every other people need a place to be what they are, too.

One of the mistakes of most liberals is the belief that one can have a multicultural society without also having MONOCULTURE enclaves where each culture is protected and cherished.

But the mistake has been made already in Europe.

So the real question is how do these cultures back out of their committment to something that is IMPOSSIBLE to sustain?

Well...doing things like outlawing the burka are a damned good start.

The burka is an OFFENCE to those who are not buying into the culture of Islam.

It is an INSULT to both men and woman who are not Moslem.

How is it an insult? Editec? you ask?

Well, the burka suggests that all woman are whore/victims and that men are oversexed rapist PIGS who cannot help themselves if they gaze upon a woman.

I'm okay if the Moslems want to feel that way about themselves, but I am NOT okay with them imposing that nonsense on me.

Islam can take its Sharia society nonsense back to where it was spawned.

We have our own western cultural nonsense that we're like to preserve, thank you very much.

Now am I really a liberal??

Damned right I am.

I completely support other nations doing what they think best. It's THEIR nation, let them decide how it works.

I ALSO support OUR WESTERN CULTURE and think it TOO deserves to be treated with that exactly kind of respect.

Now that folks, THAT is REAL liberalism.

There are only 2.000 women wearing a Burka in France according to Interior Ministry of France.

France has over 5 Million Muslim citizens.

That is less then 0.1 % of French Muslim women wearing a Burka.
Burka is not an issue in France. You should ask yourself then, why this non-issue becomes an issue for the law-giver and the media in a hysterical manner.

All very true, unfortunately all very much ignoring history and what Islamic scripture demands of Muslims.
Some times the threat to liberty and freedom has a name in Germany's case it is Islam .
Nothing can save Germany France or the UK they will not deport those whose taxes pay the pensioner wage.
Unless when export mexicans to replace the muslim work force .

The one positive about where I live now, maybe not much money, but at least the non-Muslim immigrants vastly out-breed and outnumber the Muslim ones (so there is sufficient numbers to pay for the Muslim refugees that live on the state). No threat from Islam here, though can't say the same about the Muslims in Australia. It helps also that the Chinese are generally friendly, co-operative, and productive, and we have had years of a sane (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Immigration_to_New_Zealand) immigration policy, also you can see the signs of the British exodus from the Islamic Caliphate of the UK.
