Is the Islamic State the most successful example of nation building in the Middle East since Israel became a state in 1948?

" Its quest for an ethnically pure Sunni state mirrors the quest for a Jewish state eventually carved out of Palestine in 1948.

"Its tactics are much like those of the Jewish guerrillas who used violence, terrorism, foreign fighters, clandestine arms shipments and foreign money, along with horrific ethnic cleansing and the massacre of hundreds of Arab civilians, to create Israel.

"Antagonistic ISIS and Israeli states, infected by religious fundamentalism, would be irreconcilable neighbors.

"This is a recipe for apocalyptic warfare.

"We provided the ingredients."

Both states are good for business if your profits stem from the mass murder and displacement of millions of innocent lives.

Seymour Hersh has written about a ratline of weapons and fighters extending from Libya to Syria after the fall of Gadaffi that Israel would have known about, and it seems odd both Israel and Saudi Arabia, one of IS's patrons, are behaving more like allies than mortal enemies today.

"Zarqawi’s goal was to spark, under the cover of fighting the Western coalition forces, a sectarian conflict with the Shiites.

"He understood that a unified Shiite and Sunni state would thwart the dream of a Sunni Islamic state.

"He had to ignite a religious war.

"His group, in 2004, eventually became al-Qaida in Iraq and declared its loyalty to Osama bin Laden, who had initially rejected Zarqawi’s tactic of attacking Shiites."

Israeli intelligence service, Mossad, has confirmed that the Israeli art students were, in fact, part of a major Israeli intelligence operation and that they were conducting surveillance of the activities of the 9-11 hijackers. They also worked with the Israeli Urban Moving System employees in New Jersey who were seen in at least two Jersey City locations -- Liberty State Park and The Doric apartment building -- celebrating the impact of the first plane into the World Trade Center.


The Israelis at Liberty State Park were dressed in Arab-style clothing when they were witnessed celebrating the first attack. The FBI later confiscated a videotape they filmed of the first attack.
