Islam is only known from its scholarship

As to believing or not believing in God, God is with you even if you can not realise it. The existence of god is proven. Its proof is His act. Footprints would indicate a walker; likewise rain, the vast pathways in the sky above you, or the constellations of the Zodiac are clear indications about the existence of a Unique Almighty God (who is of course above any form of humanness).

You are not offering proof of God, you are offering the argument from design: This has been well refuted. The universe has laws of physics which could have come about by chance, and the universe we see has evolved according to those natural laws.
See the Book, ' the God delusion' by Richard Dawkins.

Islam seems to be a controversial religion. i do not know does it happen because of Quran or muslim scholars. However it is hard to find any unity inside the whole Muslim community. They have been splitting during their existence constantly. That is why exactly Muslim countries have become the instrument of the Western politics.

No country in the world is the instrument of Western politics. What you consider influence is just influence, interest or strategy.

Lets just agree that the word 'love' does not appear in the original Arabic.

We'll only agree that to you Dajjal, there is no mention of the concept of love in that phrase.

I've got news for you...Islam is now known for intolerance and violent acts. You've lost control of your religion because you looked the other way while extremists committed hate crimes in your name. Shame on them...and shame on you!

Islam is only known for intolerance and violence by people like you who fear extremists. Make it known to yourself.

Let this be "known" to you...I carry a concealed weapon because of Islamic extremists and will take great pleasure at shooting the first masked, knife wielding asshole I see yelling "Allah Akbar".

As for learning about Islam? I'm an agnostic. I don't want to learn about Islam. I don't want to learn about Judaism or Buddhism either. What makes you people think that you have the right to force others to learn and obey YOUR beliefs?

It is very unfortunate that whenever Al Qaeda or ISIS commits a crime, people respond to them with interest and some sort of acknowledgement. They commit crimes, and people of all faiths love them in return, in a way.

You should not have the impression that I am inviting you to learn about Islam. As you can see from the thread title, the purpose of the thread is to make a refutation.

It's a little hard not to "respond" to someone who is cutting off the heads of innocent people with a knife. It's base savagery and any "religion" that has people like that involved in it needs to take a good hard look at itself. What is it in Islam that has spawned ISIS and Al Queda? Why haven't the people behind actions like 9/11 and the rapes and murders of thousands across the Middle East been condemned and ostracized by the entire Islamic culture?

You have yet to respond. You prefer the base savagery of not distinguishing between a heavenly religion and extremists cheating a heavenly religion. Muhammad (peace be upon him and his family) is holy and heavenly, and his religion, Islam, is holy and heavenly.
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Isra_and_Mi'raj

These extremists are very much hated by Muslims of the whole world. No one should be ignorant of it.

Muslims will not rise to say that this is not Islam whenever lying criminals by the name of Al Qaeda or ISIS show up. Don't think they will.

You've got your head in the sand...Islam is not "holy and heavenly" when it's presided over by the likes of the Taliban, Al Qaeda or ISIS! It's ultra-violent and it doesn't coexist at all with others. Catholics aren't cutting people's head off that don't believe in Jesus. Jewish people aren't executing non believers. Yet everywhere you look there are Islamic fundamentalists that are killing people who's only "crime" is that they aren't Islamic hardliners. That what "Islam" has become. You've let your religion be hijacked and now you want to ignore what's being done in your name.

Alcoholic drinks let's say, are pleasurable. People in the whole world kill themselves and others in car accidents because they were ebriated, having drunk great quantities of those drinks. It happens everywhere and it happens all the time. You don't blame the human race for having created alcoholic drinks. You only blame the one who was irresponsible enough to allow himself to drink too much and then drive.

On the other hand, you blame Philip Morris for creating cigarettes that are addictive, and you also blame the one who starts smoking knowing that his health will deteriorate.

These are 2 simple examples to show you there is a difference between the 2.

Do not dare to blame Islam or the Muslims for the doings of Al Qaeda, and do not dare to suggest that we Muslims should talk about and comdemn the acts of the extremist groups. We are more than fed up with your irresponsibility.

islam is a bloody, murderous, stone age cult with a pedophile as their prophet.

You really need not know anything more about it.

I speak of the traditional knowledge in Islam.

Islam is only known from its rich and complex scholarship.

It is not known from the works and the bools found in an Islamic library, not from the Qur'an or the Hadiths (the Hadiths are the sayings of Muhammad, peace be upon him and his family). If the Qur'an and the Hadiths make about 20 or 30 books, they are just a foundation and a basis. An Islamic library is filled with countless books; Islam is only known from these countless books.

The Qur'an says: "it is only those that have knowledge that fear God".

This does not mean only the regular knowledge acquired in the books. It means more, as the Qur'an says: "Said one who has knowledge of the Book, I will bring it (the throne of Bilqis) to you (Solomon) within a twinkling of an eye". Muhammad also says: "the knowledgeable men (scholars) are the inheritors of the prophets". This means what is meant by "knowledge" is more than just what you find in the books, it is also what you can not find in any books; the special knowledge thanks to which one becomes like the prophets, flying in the air, walking on water, visiting the heavens and coming back as one wishes, saying "be" to anything and it will be, etc....

Those who possess such knowledge are the saints of Islam. They come at each century until the end of time, because there are no prophets after Muhammad. Muhammad is the Seal of the Prophets, the last of all prophets and the best of them (including Jesus, Moses and Abraham). Whoso does not have such knowledge, though he has vast Islamic knowledge of other kind, is incomplete. Islam is defined by its scholarship, and especially by the scholarship of the saints of Islam, who fly in the air, walk on water, visit the heavens as they wish, say "be" to anything and it will be.

Isis, Al Qaeda, the Taliban and the other groups of the like do not represent Islam in any way whatsoever. Muhammad and his Companions, like the saints of Islam, flew in the air, walked on water, visited the heavens as they wished, said "be" to anything and it was, etc...

Christianity or Judaism arfe not known for their scholarship. Sometimes I hear the pope saying things like "the list of the evils in the Catholic Church" or so on, and, out of curiosity I may feel inclined to reading and learning about these topics; but Christianity is not known for its scholarship.

Islam is very renowned for its scholarship and its literature. Islamic literature is vast and, you would say endless. You may have the natural desire to read and learn about authentic Islam.

To start with, find a book from the great scholars of authentic Islam online and read, be it only one chapter. Whatever you read from these great scholars of authentic Islam, that is true Islam and you can rely on it.

Great shcolars of authentic Islam are, for instance:

Imam Ghazali, and he is a saint of Islam. Imam Abu Hanifa, and he is a saint of Islam, Imam Shafi and he is a saint of Islam. Qadi Iyad, and he is a saint of Islam. Rumi, and he is a saint of Islam. Ibn Arabi, and he is a saint of Islam. Ganshakar, and he is a saint of Islam. Abd Al Qadir Jilani, and he is a saint of Islam, etc...

Rumi and Ibn Arabi are very popular in the West.

You are an "enabler"...you sit by doing NOTHING while Islamic extremists commit horrific crimes against the rest of humanity...and then you WHINE when people say that Islam has become a religion of violence. I blame Islam and Muslims for the "doings" (you can't even bring yourself to call murder and rape by it's correct name!) of Al Qaeda because Islam and Muslims have looked the other way OR CHEERED WILDLY while Al Qaeda does what it does! Now you are "fed up" because someone suggests that you talk about and condemn the acts of the extremist groups? Really? Why should anyone have to suggest that in the first place, you asshole! Why aren't you doing that just as a matter of course?

Here's something to think about, you piece of shit...

If your Allah really IS a god of peace...how are you going to explain to him if and when you meet in "paradise", that you did nothing to stop butchers like ISIS and Al Queda from killing innocents here on earth?

It is not "proof of God", it is "the proof of the existence of God". If, for some reason, you have a problem accepting it, don't block other people from accepting it.

Islamic scholarship and literature is so vast, almost endless. One can not afford, regardless of his personal faith, to not be acquainted with it.

If for instance Christianity or Judaism featured such vast literature, I would have to read from it; but it does not. Islam does, so make sure you read from it. You can not allow yourself not to read from it.

This has been well refuted by philosophers, and I cannot block people from accepting your argument, I only point out it is not proof of anything and leave it up to peoples intelligence to decide what they believe.

You lauding Islamic scholarship and literature while ISIS is raping and killing innocents would be like someone from the 1940's extolling the wonderful culture that Germany had provided to the world while the ovens were being fired in the concentration camps!

the term "Islamic scholarship" is an oxymoron. There is none. There are the writings of intelligent muslims who picked up ideas during the age of GLORIOUS ISLAMIC IMPERIALISM AND COLONIALISM AND RAPE AND PILLAGE AND GENOCIDE AND OPPRESSION-----and that's about it. Nothing of any value actually emanated from Islamic "culture"

I wrote this in another thread, it may serve as an example in this thread, of how Islam is only known from its literature:

"...you find in the books in the Islamic library, written black on white, that "if you die with some hate in your heart, that hate will turn into snakes and scorpions torturing you the minute you die".
An example of those books of traditional Islamic knowledge (not even talking about the knowledge of the saints of Islam), Imam Bayhaqi's "The 77 branches of faith" mentions as the 43rd branch of faith to "the abandoning of rancor (resentment), envy (jealousy) and similar feelings".

Al Lakhdari mentions in his Mukhtassar (in the abridged version) that "it is forbidden for one to lie, to backbite, to talk negatively of others, to be arrogant, to glorify oneself, to show himself off superficially and in order to acquire reputation, to be jealous, to hate, to consider himself better than others, to look for the faults of others, to talk ill, laugh at or ridicule someone". That book by the way, is a book of Islamic law.

Imam Nawawi explains that when Muhammad said "love for your brother what you love for yourself", brother means one's fellow human being. Imam Nawawi, Imam Bayhaqi and Imam Lakhdari are great scholars who wrote books about the traditional knowledge in Islam, which the Muslim is ordered to acquire in priority. The order to seek knowledge is the first requirement for Muslims."

OP, no disrespect, but I had to correct the title to this Post as comes to mind at first glance.

"Islam is only known from its CENSORSHIP."

You're Welcome!
