God is the greatest (Allahu akbar)..................repeated four times.
I testify that there is no God but Allah.............repeated twice
I testify that Mohammed is God’s Prophet......repeated twice
Come to prayer..................................................repeated twice
Come to success..............................................repeated twice
God is the greatest...........................................repeated twice.
There is no God but Allah.................................said once.

(an additional pre-sunrise line is sometimes added to the first prayer of the morning)

Prayer is better than sleep................................repeated twice.

A lot of cultures use repetition in prayer. I have an affinity for rocks and stones. I used to make rosaries, malas (Buddhist prayer beads) and misbahas (Islamic prayer beads used in tasbih, repetition).

It is not really brainwashing. It is more like distracting the brain with repetition so that the Spirit can communicate with God without being hindered by the brain.
