So far, even after all the death and destruction created by muslim terrorism around the world, violence against peaceful islamic populations in western countries is minimal......and considering the targeting of innocent people by muslim terrorists, you would expect a lot more attacks against muslims if islamaphobia was a real problem.

The actual problem, it seems, is Westphobia....a fear of Western Culture......and considering the attacks on Western Culture on college campuses around the world....in the U.S. and in Europe...as well as all the anti western terrorism we see coming from the muslim world........Westphobia is an actual problem......with actual violence and murder associated with the condition...

Insofar as it enables jihadism by refusing to advocate for a modern Islamic Reformation, and instead spins and deflects after every jihadist atrocity, it's dangerous in its effect.

Huh. Interesting point of view.

I say Westphobia is a good phrase and is a heck of a problem in large parts of the world not just the Middle East.

Here in the wild "West" we do some pretty cocky things though. I'll say people have good reasons to be concerned (poor word but I don't like "fear") about radical Islam. In the Middle East with their old cultures and long memory they have good reasons to be concerned about the imperialistic "West".
