Is Twitter and Facebook any different than discussion sites like this?

    Never been on either of them yet.

    I started going to discussion sites like this one around 2000 - in fact I learned about when 9/11 happenned on one. ("a small plane crashed into the WTC" - was wondering if there were any fatalities in the bldg)

    The only difference between Twitter, Facebook and discussion forums, is that with discussion forums, you know your enemies better than your 'friends'.

    Should have been ARE (not IS) Twitter...

    Divided by a common language

    War of 1812 was actually a Civil War between America and Great Britain.........

    Then the Brits turned on us and supported the Confederacy during the US Civil War - until Gettysburg.............
