As long as he has been President, Trump has screamed (paraphrasing) "No collusion, no obstruction of justice, witch hunt and fake news.) His supporters, and you see many of their comments on this forum, support his contentions, especially that there is "no evidence of a crime" presented by Mueller. As if Mueller is going to make any evidence public.

And Trump himself has proclaimed more than once that he is (paraphrasing) "eager to meet with and be questioned" by Mueller.

If so, why all the efforts by his lawyers to prevent such a meeting from taking place? IMO two factors dominate their thinking:

1. They know Trump isn't smart enough to take on Mueller. In other words, with his penchant for lying, he would probably be a sitting duck for perjury.

2. They realize that there IS evidence of Trump's criminal activity, and they realize that Mueller is aware of this. So they are trying everything and anything to protect him from incriminating himself with the Special Prosecutor.

Each day we see Trump trying on the world stage to deflect attention from Mueller. If he is so innocent, why all the effort to deflect? It's gonna get real interesting!

Trump is no more of a criminal than anyother politician/political official that has held power in Washington. Sad but true.... The voters mean nothing to these corrupt parties of politicians, because Washington has become it's own master who is instructed by it's masters to enrich themselves at all cost. The fox has got into the chicken pen, and it's belly is being filled due the farmer has been made destitute now (can't even possess a gun to hunt for his own food before it's all said and done).
