You do realize that is precisely the story that brought us nominee Trump, right? The beginning of the Trump's interjection was Obama's refusal to be bought by him. That's what turned Trump against his beloved Democratic party. When Obama refused, Trump tried to take him down, and failed miserably. So now we're in the midst of his desperate attempt to salvage his ego and "prove" to everyone that you can't refuse him and survive.
