Buried in the Oct. 30 Washington Post was a bland headline: "Report Points to Faster Recovery in Jobs for Immigrants."

In the April-May-June quarter, foreign-born workers in the U.S. gained 656,000 jobs. And native-born Americans lost 1.2 million.

From July 1, 2009, to June 30, 2010, foreign-born Hispanics gained 98,000 construction jobs. Native-born Hispanics lost 133,000. Black and white U.S. construction workers lost 511,000 jobs.

According to the Center for Immigration Studies, from Jan. 1, 2000, to Jan. 1, 2010, 13.1 million immigrants, legal and illegal, entered the United States, a decade in which America lost 1 million jobs.

From 2008 and 2009, the figures are startling. In 24 months, 2.4 million immigrants, legal and illegal, arrived, as U.S. citizens were losing 8.6 million jobs.

Oh yeah they are begining to ramp up the hate for foriegners.

So, I'm guessing you don't mind that 10% of the American population is unemployed. You must have a special spot in heaven.

Well, truth...

People here are "fighting" illegal immigration by bitching about on the Internet.

I don't think you need to worry if that's how they go about it.

Well I will say this....It won't be the America we all grew up with. It'l be Mexico north and will mirrorr Mexico South in short order. Which inturn will destroy the very reason they came here in the first place.
I think the better option(though i'm not big on nation building)is to help Mexico fix there problems at home so they'll stop comeing here. But the Mexican people with there huge if misplaced ego would not allow US input. To much BS machismo.

Report Shows Unauthorized Immigrants Leaving U.S.
Sept. 1, 2010 | Jennifer Ludden | NPR

The Pew Hispanic Center says the number of unauthorized immigrants in the U.S. fell 8 percent between 2007 and 2009. The largest decline occurred in the South Atlantic and the Mountain West. The report, released Wednesday, does not specify causes, but experts point to the economy and increased enforcement as possible explanations.

For several years, and certainly since the recession began, the number of immigrants entering the U.S. illegally has been dropping sharply.

The red shows the growing job losses by month from the end of 2007 through January of 2009.There were over 4.5 million jobs lost during that period, all of which occurred BEFORE President Obama took office. And the trend was getting worse, big time.

Yeah it musta been tough on em. And just imagine how the previous tribe musta felt about the Iroqois when they took there land by force. But at least the Indians fought back because the white man made no secrets about his intentions.

And the Muslims have lost their countries to American by force.

Huh? What Muslim countries are Americans immigrating to and changing their laws, taking their jobs and changing their customs to suit them? there are American troops in Muslim countries but that is not the same thing.

The White man also broke each and every treaty they ever negotiated. No secrets. How noble.

You have a point.

The whole immigration thing reminds me of an old joke:

A Gringo tourist was in a small village south of the border and was dicussing our two nations history and problems with an old Mexican gentlman. When the old man said ..well I guess you won the war fair and square but it doesn't seem fair that you took the land with all the good roads, jobs and schools.

I don't think Pat is a racist.

The GOP apparently disagrees.

Or at least they did when they needed to marginalize him when he was trying to get the GOP's nod to run for the POTUS spot.

I think Pat's an old time Republican. In other words he is a nationalist.

And the current GOP is run by internationalists.

Its not hatred of forieners just a need for then to leave, they don't have to go home just get the hell out of the US.

Give me your tired, your poor,
Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free,
The wretched refuse of your teeming shore.
Send these, the homeless, tempest-tost to me,
I lift my lamp beside the golden door.

Its not hatred of forieners just a need for then to leave, they don't have to go home just get the hell out of the US.

Some thoughts, words and sentiments are more American, more noble than others.
