Problem is, the relativists and literalists have removed common sense and logic from the equation. The minority not suffering at the hands of the majority does NOT mean the majority should suffer the tyranny of the minority. The latter seems to have become SOP in the US during the past 30 years or so.

What people do in the privacy of their own home is one thing. But the homosexual agenda being bankrolled by the left, is being forced down our throats in public as "normal" behavior.

I'm not talking about porn. Even relatively tame mags like Playboy, Penthouse, Maxim, FHM, etc. thrive on pictures of cheerleaders having "gay" sex, twin sisters and so on. I doubt that many of these models are actually gay in private life, they're just making a buck. And they make that buck because straight men like to look at it.

A few years ago The Providence Journal published a full color picture of the mayor speaking at the city's Gay Pride Parade. Sitting on the stage next to him, in all his full color glory on the front page of the morning paper, was a big hairy guy wearing a pink tutu.

It wasn't same guy I saw 15 years before at the one and only Gay Parade Parade I went to, I guess pink tutu's are big in queen circles, but this guy was just as big and just as hairy. Right there. Above the fold. Front page of The Providence Journal.

I think that you are missing my point. I am not saying that I would tolerate everything. I’m even willing to draw the line. Do you tolerate smoking, drinking, gamboling, junk food, etc.? Those are unhealthy, dangerous, or addictive behaviors but would you want them to be outlawed? Some people would and some people would not. As far as I’m concerned, there should be legislation allowing for government recognition of civil unions for gay couples.

All they have to do is say they're gay and they can add their partners to all their benefits. They have more rights than both single straight people and married straight people. Single straight people can't add their live-in partners to their benefits at all, and married straight people can't add anybody BUT their spouse without their written consent.

For example, I'm single, straight, and have a 13 year old daughter. If I got married I could not designate my daughter as my primary beneficiary unless my husband signed a waiver saying I could.

All gay people have to do is say they're gay. They're probably limited to the same rules under open enrollment for medical that the rest of us are, but I wouldn't be surprised if they have a special rule for that, too.

Smokers are discriminated against to protect non-smokers around them.
Alcoholics are addicts, and would be no different than a homo nimphomaniac. That doesn't mean every person who drinks is a social outcast.
Gambling addicts are the same as alcoholics. Non-addicts aren't social outcasts.
Being fat alone hardly makes you a social outcast.
