Is there ever serious discussion?

LOL

I think the point was made.

Maybe it's just people can't comprehend on a message board because you can't see facial expressions, body language or hear the tone of another persons voice.

It just seems odd that people like to use insults to try and make a point instead of teaching each other what their views are.

You can tell when someone is steamed too by the way things are spelled. When you get "taht" instead of "that" and the like, you know they are pissed and typing too fast. Not thinking before they type and messing up. [emphasis Capstone's]

Should I assume that you need to calm the fuck down, since you were obviously too pissed off to include the possessive apostrophe in [what should have been] "person's"?

Or is sloppy punctuation indicative of something different from spelling errors?

More than the "Everything is all about socialist Maobama you fucking libtard" crew that flies into every discussion with guns blazing until everyone quits it.
You've never experienced a TM thread, then.

Having an unpopular opinion or peaching to the heathens is one thing, being a massive disruptive prick is another, not going to name names but they are pretty easy to pick out from the crowd. They average about 20 words per post with at least one insult or unfounded accusation per post.

That's why there partie is dying.

Hey, I think you are on to something. And that is; the validity of ALL posts should be scored on spelling, grammar and punctionation. Which I believe that I just mis spelled
"punctuation".

So put me on ignore. If you haven't already. Spelling has never been my forte'. I do much better with insults. But I would rather be amusing.

Nope.

An argument's validity has nothing to do with proper spelling, punctuation, or grammar usage.

Language is also a piss-poor gauge for a person's IQ. One of the smartest people I've ever known was functionally illiterate.

BTW, I only point out literary mistakes to those who seem to think such things are significant.

I have yet to read a thread here that doesn't have someone calling someone else names before the first page is even filled. Is there ever a serious discussion on this board or is it all about who can get the best put down?

Fuck off, asswipe.

Nice one, but it took you 4 pages.

Check the record: I called C.S. an "Asshole", and I did it "before the first page [was] even filled".
