The quote you supplied says " capable of eventually generating billions of dollars for investors, including himself," so I don't see how that addresses the question, as it refers to future income, not income already made, and it refers to the income of many people other than just Al Gore.

That's the current conservative position on climate change (global warming), isn't it? That's it's all made up somehow?

Or is this massive heat wave a harbinger of things to come? Maybe we're looking at the new normal. Maybe we'll one day look back fondly when the temperature only topped out at 105 degrees.

The whole global warming myth was blown out of the water last year during the G20 summit, it has been proven that some leftwing scientists fudged the number and data to try to help push an agenda. Let's move on now. The carbon in the air millions of years ago was about 30% higher than it is today, proof that earth heals itself, and for us to imply that our measly short existence on this planet can damage it is egotistical at best. Global warming is only a myth that is being used to tax the air we breath and to push a global agenda, nothing less.

I'm trying to remember the last time (if ever) that I've seen a heat wave that lasted this long over such a large area, especially seeing as how it doesn't appear to be cooling down at night.

You do know that we are still coming out of an ice age dont you? It takes longer than 5 to 10 years for that to happen goofy. Also, have you ever heard of jet streams and how they shift throughout the years?
