Is the government to lenient on Muslims? Another possible shooter.

Soldier Arrested in Suspected Bomb Plot Had Series of Disputes With Army

Reporters tried to contact Private Abdo mother in a rental home but no one was home on Friday. She must be so proud of her son.

Abdo’s brigade was deployed to Afghanistan in February 2010. The other trainees in the First Brigade Combat Team of the 101st Airborne Division went off to do their duty while Abdo stayed behind.

Abdo described his basic training as “horrible” and complained that he couldn’t fit in his praying 5 times a day and was unable to fast for his religion.

Abdo started being interested in Islam when he was 17 years old in 2007. He went to Dubai University in 2008. He joined the army in March 2009. He applied for conscientious objector status in June 2010.

When he joined the army he said he joined because it would “bring justice to those who were giving Islam a bad name.”

The army was convinced that Abdo had “satisfied the burden of establishing that he was a conscientious objector. The standard is that he was opposed to war in any form,” and that he showed “a firm and fixed objection to participation in war in any form” and showed “sincere regret” for putting the Army before his religion.

He said in an interview “Preparing for deployment made me investigate my religion,” he said. He said he had decided that “the price of refusing to go is much lower than facing my God,” adding that the only war justified by God is a just war. “If there is no divine inspiration, it is murder.”

I think this country has become to political correct and afraid of offending everyone. Sorry to the people that are Muslims but those are the people trying to kill us if that is profiling OH WELL. Quit trying to kill us and maybe we wouldnt profile you .
This is a profoundly ignorant post.

Muslims aren’t ‘trying to kills us,’ criminals are, who happen to be Muslim, their religion is incidental and irrelevant.

You also advocate ‘profiling,’ where simply being Muslim is to be a potential ‘terrorist.’

And lastly you advocate Muslims be presumed guilty and justify such idiocy by arguing guilt by association.

Do you even know what the Constitution and America are about?

Well hey! My two joint replacements make ME, Granny, a potential terrorist any time I go to an airport. I am presumed guilty from the outset. But they can't stop a middle aged middle eastern male who represents the group from which almost all the islamic terrorists were spawned.

The people who want to kill Americans on planes almost always have the Allah-sadness-gene. Whether it’s in their home countries or elsewhere, they commit crimes under the guise of religion. Where ever they go death and destruction follow them. Suffering is a popular past time for those people! We don’t need them in America unless you want to see IED’s (roadside bombs) on the highways.

AWOL soldier defiantly shouts '09 suspect's name

Copycat Naser Abdo condemned the massacre of Nidal Hasan Fort Hood in 2009 less than a year ago. Yet, he was determined to repeat it.

Abdo wrote, "Only when the military and America can disassociate Muslims from terror can we move onto a brighter future of religious collaboration and dialogue that defines America and makes me proud to be an American."

Authorities found a Yemen terror group al-Qaida magazine in Abdo’s hotel room. Abdo’s father said he didn’t mention anything about al-Qaida when they last spoke about a week ago and he denied his son was planning the terror plan and the child pornography charges. The father said the Army discriminated against his son because of his religion and the soldiers “used bad language against Islam and its prophet.” They made fun of him when he prayed and called him filthy names.

Naser Abdo’s father “insisted the allegations were all lies from A to Z. He said, my son loved people no matter who they are, whether Jews or Christians. Naser is not the kind of a person who harbors evil for the other people, he cannot kill anyone and he could not have done any bad thing. He reported these incidents, but nothing was done about it. Therefore he wanted to leave the Army. I always told him to be calm and to focus on his duty and he used to tell me, `Yes, Papa.’”

Naser Abdo was born in Texas and his father was a Muslim and his mother was a non-denominational Christian. His parents were divorced when Abdo was 3 in 1993. Abdo’s father is now living in Fuhais, Jordan.
