Is Racism the New Political Schism ?

youre right

none of those groups promote racial discord as a means to meet a political end

Not to anything like the extent you seem to think, and resentment of the fact that a black president could be elected is much more prevalent among older white people than you seem to think. I've seen a lot of it on this board, in fact.

It's a lot like the opposition to Bill Clinton, which was never based on his politics (which were very conservative for a Democrat), but always on who he was: a draft-dodging dope-smoking skirt-chasing war-protesting formerly-long-haired Baby Boomer. Many people were dismayed that someone like that could be elected; it means America had radically changed. So does the Obama election. A lot of people don't like that.

This is real. To observe that it is real is not "playing the race card." It's just dealing with reality.

obama needs and promotes racial divides

Not only is your post spot on in terms of Obama's personal opinions...but a fairly astute political calculation.

True from day one:
"The Associated Press noticed liberal Rev. Joseph Lowery's prayer raised eyebrows when he prayed for that day in the hazy future when "white will embrace what is right." That divisive note drew this headline: "Lowery gives sole inaugural note of racial caution." The entire dispatch was brief:
"When yellow will be mellow, when the red man can get ahead, man; and when white will embrace what is right. That all those who do justice and love mercy say Amen."
The crowd thundered, "Amen!"

Further, he instituted a racialist Department of Justice under Holder.

Will it hurt him?

McCain won the white vote by some 12%, yet Obama won the election by 7%.
The Republicans may not get much more of the white vote this time, but if they don't get, or at least see minority voters stay home, more minority votes, this election may play into an Obama victory.

Be aware, his party cares not a whit the menthod they use to win.

Why should they? You crackers are on the ropes now and your end is near, politically.

'Crackers'...is that a racialist term?

I realize, Faulty, that second level thought is hardly your stong suit...but consider this: if it were true that your opponents' " end is near," how will you make up the 40% or so of federal taxes that said folks pay?

As for "Why should they (care how they win)?", the answer in a word is 'integrity.'

It means the quality of being honest and having strong moral principles; moral uprightness.
You seem to be admitting that it matters more to the Right than to the Left.

Probably true.

Why we look for alternatives to an administration that has failed to deliver, what is America left with ? There are many that believe that to unseat Obama is ONLY a racially motivated scheme. Sad ! Thoughts ???

Well, given there is no serious way to defend the Obama's Administration record, what else is these except to yell "racist"!!??

They have nothing.

Yet, he will be reelected in a landslide. As I said, you are weak and easy pickings.

He's on his way out.
I appreciate your miitary service, or I'd suggest you join him.

Crackers is a black racist term, which I am.

We will take it.

You think there's integrity in American politics and politicians? And you question my "second level thought"? Priceless.

You can suggest whatever you like, but Obama will win reelection and the right wing establishment knows it. That's why the republican candidates are who they are.

Opposition to Obama, to the extent it isn't partisan-like-a-sports-fan, is largely racial. That wasn't true in 2008, but as he's shown his true colors, there remains no ideological basis for conservatives to oppose him. A lot of the opposition, I'm sure, comes from that "he's on the other team" sports-fan type of reflex, but a lot of it does come from a reaction to the fact we've got a n----r in the White House. To deny this is to be wilfully blind.

EDIT: Liberals, unlike conservatives, have an ideological reason to oppose Obama, but we're kind of stuck with him.

I had some modicum of respect for you until you pulled the standard "Republicans are racists" crap.

You're just as sleazy as every other leftwing turd in this forum.

Nah, I make my living by inspecting weapon systems that weaker countries have to buy to get our protection. How many American weapons did the UK buy last year.

the race provacetuer and ows syncophant profits from the industrial war machine

Oh yes, $15,000,000,000,000+ debt, inflation, 15%+ real unemployment, worthless $$, sluggish growth, massive deficits, bailouts, billions of taxpayer $$ thrown down the black hole known as "Green Jobs", etc. just scream landslide.

You're delusional... better keep the Xanbars handy bub.

Watch and learn how weak the old white republican party is. You don't have a candidate nor the numbers.

The tantrum that this bunch will throw when obama and the democrat senate gets shown the door will be monumental.

Find a post where I say anything about OWS, that's not my fight. I don't buy junk I can't afford, so I don't carry debt. Yes, I profit from the war machine and have since the day I joined the military. War feeds my family, pays for my kids education and provides for my retirement.

Accusations about people's motives are unprovable. That's why leftwing scumbag demagogues are so fond of them.
