Is president Obama going to destroy the Democratic party along with freedom?

Pale, chill a bit, not all on the left voted for Obama ;) Remember Hillary had a ton of very loyal supporters. What won Obama the position was his faux charisma ... a lot on the right fell for it to, and too many in the middle did as well.
Hey... that was me chilled girl... if I REALLY went off, I'd MELT THE BOARD...

(And be perma banned.)

But I agree with you, and that's primarily what I just said. People fell for obama's line of bull shit, on the left, in the middle, and as you say even some republicans. Our last election was probably the biggest JOKE this country has ever seen... and now we have a JOKE for President as the result.

BOTH parties need to be thrown in the trash can, and America needs to start over with some new ones in my opinion.

I think we need to get normal average everyday people to look at the way these guys/gals have been voting in order to get them moving to create an actual change for true representation of the public's wants and needs.

:clap2: :clap2: :clap2:

Wholeheartedly agree with both of you. If Rodishi's idea fails, implement EZ's.

I'd also like to see normal, average, everyday, intelligent people run things, instead of career politicians.

Does that mean Sarah Palin can count on your vote?

I've heard many dems state they wish they hadn't voted for him.

I haven't heard one Republican say they have been pleasantly surprised.

the office i work out of has lots of DEMS in it who voted for Obama.....lots of them, lets say ,are not praising the guy.....

I totally agree. The Tea Party/T Bag gang has begun to grumble and publically let people know that there is unhappiness in America. Little quality publicity is being given to these groups at the present time. Politicians aren't really paying attention. A large number of the liberal talking heads are gaffing them off and the major news channels (except Fox) pay them no mind. BUT, like all movement, it's only a start. This is what's happening only 6 months into Obama presidency. Let's see what's happening a year from now. Will the unrest and unhappiness grown in the next year? It will be getting closer to the elections so politicians will give lip service and act as if they care but they really won't. We'll just have to sit back and see what the next year brings. Unemployment is going to be a driving factor behind this. If it keeps growing just listen for the roars. This is why I think it is important to get rid of all the incumbents. Time for new faces.

I think you are all on to something. The American people have become divorced from their representatives, with Republican and Democrat being replaced with one party of Kleptocrats.

I mean, lets face it. The majority of votes for Obama were a rejection of eight years of Bush, not a divine mandate for the Democrats.

It seems that the Democrats are making the same mistakes the Republicans made, only the Dems have no problems stealing $$$ we don't have (read: stimulus). The Republicans had to at least pretend they supported small government.

I believe McCain lost the election because he signed the stimulus bill. If he had refused, ppl from both sides would have supported him.

After reading through so many articles, bogs and such in this last week I'm wondering if President Obama is going to destroy the democratic beyond recognition.

The way politics is going are we going to have any viable parties left that will represent the will of the people and the constitution?

What do you all think?

Yes.

He is a communist and hates America.

He's busy foisting the Gay Agenda onto America. And he's personally coming to take all of your guns, even water-pistols.

Well, he is for sure a far left wing socialist, and maybe even a Marxist. With an approval rating of 62% only a few short months ago, to a 49% approval rating in Ohio today, his ship is quickly sinking. People are starting to see that he was and is an empty suit all along.

In all due respect, and please don't take this the wrong way, but if you believe that Obama might be a Marxist, you wouldn't know Marxism if it came up to you and bit you on the ass.

I doubt he will do as good a job as Bush did to the Republican Party. :)

Well, let's see. Does this somehow sound familiar to Obama's recent actions with the Stimulus bill, bailouts, etc? Did he not change the character of the people of this country with his hope and change promises? Is he not leading this country away from a capitalist economy? (GM government takeover) My definition of a Marxist is human actions and institutions are economically determined and that class struggle is needed to create historical change and that capitalism will ultimately be superseded by communism. Sorry bud, but it didn't bite me on the ass. I know exactly what I am talking about. Sometimes we can't see the forest for the trees, and apparently most Americans fall into that category.

Your right it will be much worse considering Pelosi ties and her attempts to hold up any measure to investigate PMA Group and its ties to Pennsylvania Rep. John P. Murtha. People are not into corrupt politicians who sell them out in a heartbeat and the Democratic party is full of them. I can see it now Dems will be blaming Obama for everything they can as they try to save face from the error of supporting their top members corruption charges when the calls for investigating them went out.

Dems fear defections in PMA probe - Patrick O'Connor and John Bresnahan - POLITICO.com

Yeah, the democratic party didn't win the election, Obama did, and his hope and change promises that he is not following through with are working against him. I wouldn't doubt that a huge change in politicians in the capital/White house is coming in 2010 and 2012.
