So it seems the u.s. is actually one of the lucky countries, where migrants want to go?

From my point of view, there can be no doubt: overpopulation of the planet is the biggest problem we, and all life on the planet, face. It might be the root source of increased wars over resources, the destruction of the rain forests, the over harvestation of the oceans, water and food shortages, accelerated global warming, increased crime rates, extinction of animal species, the spread of HIV/AIDS, and perhaps much more stife than listed here.

Yet, some people don't think so. My girlfriend's 30 year old cousin just had his 5th child. I know plenty of young people who have had three children. The birthrate among hispanics is far higher than it is among any other US ethnicity. The birthrate among the lower income classes is higher than the middle or higher classes. The global birthrate scale is tipped heavily toward South America, Africa, China, India, and Southeast Asia, the developing world and third world countries where resources are rare, education is either poor or uncommon, and the governments corrupt or powerless to do much to address the problems the nations face.

Do you think overpopulation is a problem? Vote!

If yes, what do you think could be done to slow or reverse it?

If no, why?
Utte simpllistic bullshit. So for example we have in bellicose Chinas ,due to female gendercide,

I have seen discussionos of this in national security journals

" In a landmark study, political scientists Andrea M. den Boer and Valerie Hudson also determined that single young men are far more likely to commit violence than their married peers. Even young criminals, they found, often give up crime when they marry and settle down. These findings may be playing out in China, which is experiencing rising crime waves. Cities with the most unbalanced sex ratios have some of the highest crime rates."

ANd what is the effect on women ???

along with the consequences of female gendercide-human trafficking, child marriage ,the selling of young girls because no women are available

Let's see Indian and my favorite charity the Invisible Girl Project

YOU HAVE NO IDEA THE STUPID HORRORS YOU ARE PROMOTING

There's more than enough young people having kids. Those saying the birth rate is a problem are wrong.

You stupid cow, That is not even the basic problem

1)Female gendercide by abortion is creating a huge gender imbalance in the hundreds of millions
2) The ratio of young working to older receiving from the welfare state is declining disastrously
3) The family in many circles is plummeting, with the result that fatherless males are turning to drugs, violence, and criminal activity

Goddam uniformed cow

The REAL danger of overpopulation lies in the fact that it is not universal. In the developed world where women have more rights, population trends point to a decline. In the more primitive parts of the word where women have lower status, the population is still increasing, sometimes steeply.

As a result of this, the developed world is importing more and more people from the undeveloped, and the very values that led to such development are starting to erode.

In the long term, this is really unsustainable UNLESS the developed countries insist upon assimilation, which they are not doing. In fact, the mere mention that immigrants should adopt the values of their host country are met with charges of racism which only acts to speed up the process of cultural decay.

No. We are not even close to any sort of critical tipping point. There are still an abundance of resources, and human ingenuity is making those resources either less relevant or more efficient. There are still vast expanses of this country which are virtually empty.
Then how do you explain that...

1) Up to 783 million people worldwide are facing chronic hunger. That means one in ten people are not consuming enough food to lead an active, healthy life.

2) Up to 309 million people are facing extreme hunger.

3) 42 million people across 45 countries are on the brink of starvation or worse. Over 1 million people are either facing or expected to face catastrophic hunger by the end of 2024.

That's the cause of the fires - too many humans sucking too much fresh water from finite land based supplies. Look at Hawaii, dry for the first time ever to burn as it did. Population of Hawaii is up 15 fold in the past 120 years.

The Co2 FRAUD wants to blame the fires on "warming," and that is just pathetic, given that a warmer Earth is also a wetter Earth and hence would have LESS FIRES...

Birthrates are dropping almost everywhere. The USA is one of many nations with a lack of kids and a surplus of people long past reproductive age. That's a step towards solving overpopulation, but with some hardship. Many retirements will be delayed or cancelled as more people work until they drop dead.

Since when have we had a lack of kids? That's fake news.
