(There was a reason the legendary residents of Transylvania pinned the already dead corpse of a suspected vampire to its casket with a wooden stake in the shape of a Cross.
So far nobody has managed to pin Mr Obama, the dirtiest campaigner this country has ever seen, down with a similar device, so its far too premature to be dancing on his political grave.
The only political opponent Mr Obama ever lost to was never divorced. Mr Obama's most likely opponent, at this moment, has. Rest assured, Mr Obama and Mr Axelrod have Mr Gingrich's divorce records in a secure place. Expect to be reading them in their most sordid, unpleasant details on or about October 15th next. Aided and abetted by a compliant, complicit Left Media, of course, still mesmerized by the hints of that reported Chicago area men's club membership after all these years. Proof he really, really, really is one of them.
Then there is Mr Obama's private army, the OWS protestors, his very own Twentyfirst Century version of the Brownshirts, his very own Twentyfirst century version of the SA, come together, coalesced and organized by Van Jones, often described as America's most dangerous subversive, the SEIU's Stephen Lerner, aided and abetted by Obama mentor, friend, supporter William "We didn't bomb them (America) enough" Ayers and "Granny, (Collapse America by overloading the system) Farnces Fox Piven to agitate, demonstrate and otherwise cause complete generalized chaos if Mr Obama fails to get his way. Expect numerous, repeated, Munich style "Beerhall Putschs" out of this bunch. "Granny" and Bill have been waiting many long years for their opportunity to overthrow the American Government and its Economic system to come around. They are not going to let it slip easily through their hands just because the American voters should say "No". And Van Jones, does he look like he'd take "No" from anything less than a 155mm depleted uranium round from an M1A1 Abrams?
And yesterday's passage of a bill by the Senate that would allow the American Military to seize, hold, and detain without trial or right of defense any American citizen, anywhere, the president or DOJ names as a threat to the United States, adds a unique twist to the American Political election process for 2012. There is nothing in the bill that would prevent Mr Obama or Mr Holder from arbitrarily declaring the entire Republican slate, from Gingrich, Romney, and Cain to Bachmann, Santorum, and Huntsman, a terrorist threat to America, detaining them and placing them and their supporters in indeterminate preventative dentention a few days before the election, just to maintain domestic peace and tranquility of course, while OWS locks down the cities.
We find ourselves today faced with a unique, dangerous as never before, set of circumstances, legal and political, against a devious, diabolically evil force.)

"Is Obama Too Unpopular to Stand a Chance?

Conventional wisdom holds that when a president runs for re-election, the campaign is a referendum on his performance during his first four years. I think history confirms that that view is correct. So, given that President Obama has been mired in the doldrums of unpopularity and disapproval for the large majority of his first term, does he have a chance to be re-elected?

At U.S. News’ Washington Whispers, Paul Bedard offers some historical context. President Obama’s job approval rating, as measured by Gallup, is now down to 43%, compared to Jimmy Carter’s 51 percent at the same point in his first term. Bedard graphs the Gallup approval ratings of the post-WWII presidents at this stage of their first term, a year before re-election:"

Obama is unpopular among 90% of the Republican Party. But then, there are a lot of things they hate:

Science

Facts

Study

Education

Condoms

Women's rights

Gays

Muslims

Well, I COULD go on. But we already know.

Well, if you keep insisting on running candidates that are completely amoral in their personal and public life, Newties ethics violations that got him kicked out of congress, you will surely lose. But then, being amoral is what people like you are all about. Greed is good, and attention to the welfare of the nation is a sin. That seems to be your campaign premise.

Obama is down in the polls, but so is every one of the GOP candidates. So far, most people would rather have Obama over any other candidate. Not only that, but according to Gallup, he is tied with a generic republican.

Liberals aren't preaching on one knee and on the other knee, well, you get the picture.

If the media was doing it's job instead of defending Barry he would have been laughed out of Washington years ago.

As much as I dislike President Obama's performance thus far, I do not believe he is too unpopular to win re-election. I don't think he is any more unpopular than any of his recent predecessors. A lot can happen between now and election day including the fact that the Republicans do not seem to be putting up a candidate that is all that much better than Obama himself.

It is all going to depend on who is the angriest come election day and who goes out to vote.

Immie

Yup and enough of us "idiots" will vote him back into office. I was trying to understand how frustrating that has to be for people on the right. You have NO ONE who can beat him. No one.

Yep. Absolutely no one.

Except...

Romney
Gingrich
Cain
Perry
Bachmann
Santorum
Paul
Huntsman

And just about anyone else.

Unpopular? This nation held a "popularity" contest in 2008--and elected a person who had no legislative experience--never worked a single day in the private sector in his life--spent 2 years in the Illinois state legislature--running for the U.S. senate--got there--and then spent the next two years running for POTUS and won.

What did we get because of perfectly pronounced speeches read from a teleprompter--with Greek columns--fainting, hysterical crowds?

An economic moron. That's what popularity did to this country. Obama was a "rock star"--& unfit to be POTUS.
