Obama: Yes to 2011 climate bill push

President Barack Obama is pledging to throw his full weight next year behind efforts to overhaul the nation's energy and climate change policies, though he concedes such moves might need to happen "in chunks."

In an interview published Tuesday by Rolling Stone magazine, Obama lamented how the economic crisis contributed to this year's Senate stalemate over a comprehensive bill to cap carbon dioxide emissions and establish renewable power standards.

"One of my top priorities next year is to have an energy policy that begins to address all facets of our overreliance on fossil fuels," Obama said. "We may end up having to do it in chunks, as opposed to some sort of comprehensive omnibus legislation. But we're going to stay on this because it is good for our economy, it's good for our national security and, ultimately, it's good for our environment.

Now THIS is funny as hell! I bet there is a slew of Democrats just cussing Obama out under their breathe over this. Just before election Obama gives the voters ANOTHER REASON not to vote Democrat?:lol::lol:

Obama either has to KNOW the voters do not want cap and tax, or he is even MORE tone deaf than Jimmah Carter.

At the same time, get an insight into how liberals work. Obama knows he might not be able to get all of his agena at once. So, he will pass it "in chunks."

This is how liberals work. When they know something is unpopular, they pass it "little by little." So you don't notice as much what they are trying to do, until it is too late.

Only problem is, everyone knows what Obama wants to do. We have seen the results to the economy (In Europe) from similar legislation.

At a time when the economy is REELING from Obama's disastrous policies to promise this, and before an election.

He's either stupid as hell, or he is deliberately trying to make sure Democrats lose.

:lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

He is trying to shore up his base in the face of criticism from them that he wasn't leftist enough.
He's damned if he does, damned if he doesn't.
What a spectacle. I fully expect him to lose it in some upcoming interview and start shouting. He isn't made to take this pressure and criticism. Untested, unready, unaccomplished and unpresidential.

But he has to KNOW that most Americans, facing an almost 10% unemployment rate, are NOT going to want anything else to hurt business like cap and tax will.

This is going to affect votes in November. He has to know that.

It's crazy of him to promise this now.

It's another example this clown is nowhere near ready for prime time.

Businesses are already nervous about how ObamaCare and whatnot will impact them and now the bozo in chief gives them even more reason to be concerned about their futures. Gee, wonder why there's been no meaningful jobs creation? Barry is simply a colossal dope.

It doesn't matter. He has stalwarts like Barbara Boxer and Harry Reid in tight races. He has to mobilize the base to get out and vote in November, otherwise those people are toast. Heard his rhetoric recently about not sitting at home? That's what all this is about. He is playing to his base. He doesn't care about the rest of America, if he ever did.

Couldn't add anything to that. Says it all perfectly. :clap2:
