Socialist Presidents figured out long ago that they could win election for themselves and their Party members by creating dependence on government
. And so, President Woodrow Wilson added the Constitutional Amendment that allowed for a federal income tax to provide for the redistribution of income to support their PEEP's. Franklin Roosevelt implemented the New Deal, which included welfare, food stamps and Social Security. These concepts were further implemented by Harry Truman in the Fair Deal. And then, Lyndon Johnson came along and added the Great Society entitlement programs, the largest of which are Medicare and Medicaid and Federal monies to support and control local public schools. Jimmy Carter added the Department of Education to take even more control of education away from the states. Socialist President Obama is just the culmination of nearly 100 years of Socialist Schemes designed to make Americans dependent on the federal government to win elections. ObamaCare is the icing on the Socialist cake. Let's face it. Whose bread you eat, whose song you sing.
So today, we have 43 million people on food stamps. There must be at least 60 million Americans on welfare, Medicaid, Social Security, Workman's Compensation, Disability or unemployment benefits. There are millions of American senior citizens on Medicare that can afford to pay a substantial portion if not all of their medical expenses. About 50% of working Americans, or about 75 million Americans, pay no income taxes at all. Of those that pay no income taxes, 23 million low income Americans actually are paid monies by the federal government through the Earned Income Tax Credit just for holding a job and not going on welfare. Many college students either receive full government scholarships or low interest government loans to pay for university. Millions of kids get free breakfast and lunch at public schools. Several million Americans work for local, state or federal government receiving compensation and benefits far in excess of what is typical in the private sector thanks to public employee unions and crooked politicians. Think about it. All of these Americans are on the dole, one way or another and many of them are very likely to vote for Socialist candidates to continue the hand-outs. And, of course, the left wing media fully supports all of these Socialist Schemes that are bankrupting our country
