I say NO!
(1) Obamination went through:
Its going to be a gigantic job killer. A ton of people in the lower and middle class will lose their jobs aka group health insurance and will now be required to buy insurance. :eusa_eh: The lower class has a larger unemployment rate than the middle class and its about to go up!
(2) Amnesty is next:
Healthcare dominated the news, but there was a pro-illegal alien march on Washington. They want amnesty and more incentive to illegal immigration. Amnesty adversely effects the lower class the most. Most come over and compete for jobs they could and would do. They also overburden hospitals and schools to which the poor is more effected, since they are likely to use these same facilities.
(3) Lastly - CAP and TRADE and Global Warming regulation:
Obamination killed job, cap and trade will pick off the ones still left. Ouch! So in the end the hardest hit sector of unemployment is going to get hit 100 fold harder by Obamination, Amnesty and Cap and Trade. Then they are required to get healthcare or get fined or tossed in jail.

He is no Robin Hood that is foresure!:(

So, because Obama didn't fall for your GOP fearmongering and talking points, it is your opinion that he is not for the poor/lower class? Does that about sum up your BULLSHIT post?

When we look at the result of Reagannomics, Bush I's 'Voodoo Economics', and Dubya's 'give the rich everything they want' policies, we KNOW poor and middle class people didn't flourish under them. In general, poor and middleclass people have done much better under democratic party economics than they have under GOP economics.

The Marxist Obamination cares for poor people just about as much as Marxist Mao did.....

...let's see...how many poor did Marxist Mao kill?.....about 70 million or so...?

Except that they do.

You must think Obama some sort of messiah? You expect him to fix in one year, what it took Dubya 8 to F up. Newsflash, he is not a messiah, eventhough by your expectations, you wingnuts seem to think he is.

He said his stimulus package would keep unemployment from exceeding 8%.

He either lied or is incompetent - most likely both.

It's rare finding a Republican who can even SAY the words, "Middle Class".

Nope, rather I fault him for pushing an agenda that is going to increase the already hardest hit sector of American unemployment.

Note its not GOP fearmongering. This is a private company stating their projected cost hits!

Its unfair and disingenious to state that Obama was the cause of the economic woes up to this point. Just as Reagan was dealt a bad hand, so was Obama. The economic woes were caused by the a combo of the Clinton policies and Bush's ignoring the effect of the Clinton policies.

However, this second wave that is unfortunately about to hit us, is all Obama!

Caterpillar is the perfect example, because they are one of the largest MANUFACTURES in the US. It hits close to home for me, since I'm a Chicagoan. IL has some of the highest unemployment in the country, Caterpillar cutting jobs or glup moving to say Mexico, is something IL can't afford at the moment!

Good. Please post the particulars of Cat's claim. I want to know WHY it is going to cost them $100M dollars in the first year. What are they NOT doing now that is going to cost them $100M in a single year to pay for?

Yes, he is. And he is totally ignoring the fact that Caterpilla compared their projection of their premiums under the new healthcare law compared to what they are paying now. If the bill hadn't passed and their premiums were raised by 29% (using the Anthem increase), their premium costs would have increased by a lot more.

I didn't say he was the sole cause. The justification for the stimulus bill was that it would keep unemployment from exceeding 8%.

This clearly did not happen.

There is, of course, a third possibility!
You are the incompetent liar who leaves out the fact that the GOP delayed passage of the stimulus package until AFTER unemployment went over 8%!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

But don't forget that Obama will be giving IL new jobs if Gitmo is moved there (wow!)...say!....maybe IL can get more jailer jobs by incarcerating those who don't buy national health insurance......

Anybody notice how the most broke states are those with SOCIALIST/MARXIST/LEFTISTS as their leaders.....? So... you bright libbies.....exactly how is that helping the poor and middle classes......??

California: $53.7 billion shortfall or 58 percent of its budget - Nancy Pelosi's state
Nevada: $1.2 billion or 38 percent of its budget - Harry Reid's state
Illinois: $9.2 billion or 33 percent of its budget - Barack Hussein Obama's state

New York: $17.9 billion or 32 percent of its budget - blue state
New Jersey: $8.8 billion or 30 percent of its budget - blue state
Oregon: $4.2 billion or 29 percent of its budget - blue state
Vermont: $278 million or 25 percent of its budget - blue state
Connecticut: $4.1 billion or 23 percent of its budget - blue state
Washington: $3.6 billion or 23 percent of its budget - blue state

Arizona: $4 billion shortfall or 41 percent of its budget - The damage to Arizona’s fiscal sanity occurred under Uncle Mort’s reign, aka Janet “Nappy” Napolitano.

Alaska: $1.35 billion shortfall or 30 percent of its budget - Alaska’s deficit results from the decrease in oil revenues, not from squandering their nest egg for sky pie. However, this is cutting into the state’s surplus quickly.

10 Most broke states — New England Republican

And you want to take these fat failures to a national level......?

You have a source on that? I hope this is true, because that will make me feel a heck of a lot better!
