Is It Wise to Have Public Homecomings?

The number one terrorist nation in the world: USA
The number one imperialist nation in the world: USA

Both indisputable FACTS.

All thanks to the criminals running our government.
Both indisputable IDIOCY. USA is #1 defender against terrorism. The Umma is the # 1 terrorist "nation" in the world. (consisting of Iran, ISIS, al Qaeda, al Shabbab, Al Nusra, Hamas, Hezbollah, Boko Haram, the Taliban, many other jihad groups, and assorted lone wolves worldwide).

Mexico is the # 1 imperialist nation in the world with $28 Billion/yr raked in just from the US alone. Their pillagers also piled up remittances$$$$$ from Canada, Spain, Guatemala, France, and the UK too, but none of them comparable to the plunder they foist on the US. And remittances is only part of it for Mexico. They also steal millions of US jobs + tens of Billions$$ more in welfare from US treasuries.

Remittance Flows Worldwide in 2016

Come back when you have even a foggy idea of what you're talking about, instead of just tossing 1960's left-wing propaganda around, that's 50 years behind the times.
I don't agree.

What nation has dropped the most bombs over the last 60 years? (i.e did you know Big Ears dropped more bombs than the blood thirsty moron W?)

What nation has invaded other nations, more than any other nation over the last 60 years?

Do you have any idea the number of civilians killed by the US military in Korea, Vietnam, Iraq, and elsewhere?

What nation has COVERTLY and OVERTLY overthrown several governments around the world?

What nation has their military stationed in nearly every nation in the world?

What nation spends absurd amounts of money on their military, while millions of it's citizens live in poverty and near poverty?

..and there is only one nation in the history of the world, to use nuclear weapons on citizens.

READ THIS ONE SLOWLY....The US government SUPPORTED ISIS. It made ISIS and protected ISIS.

Stop accepting the propaganda told to you in the government schools. Wake up and look around.

During the covert war against the small country of Laos (a sideshow of the Vietnam War)

America dropped more bombs on Laos than on Germany during WWll

And the population of Laos was reduced from 3 million people down to around 2 million by the end of the U.S. military's intervention.

All done in the interest of defending our freedom. .....

Yes...but sadly the bombing of Laos is NOT the exception, but the rule. Another sad fact about this heinous war crime committed by the US Gov, is few Americans know a damn thing about it. Typical.

Only a kooky Statist brainwashed with propaganda, finds this acceptable.

It is high time we turned the Pentagon into affordable housing, and dismantled the US war machine.

SECRET WAR IN LAOS
Here are some other startling facts about the U.S. bombing of Laos and its tragic aftermath:

  • Over 270 million cluster bombs were dropped on Laos during the Vietnam War (210 million more bombs than were dropped on Iraq in 1991, 1998 and 2006 combined); up to 80 million did not detonate.

  • Nearly 40 years on, less than 1% of these munitions have been destroyed.More than half of all confirmed cluster munitions casualties in the world have occurred in Laos.

  • Each year there are now just under 50 new casualties in Laos, down from 310 in 2008. Close to 60% of the accidents result in death, and 40% of the victims are children.

  • Between 1993 and 2016, the U.S. contributed on average $4.9M per year for UXO clearance in Laos; the U.S. spent $13.3M per day (in 2013 dollars) for nine years bombing Laos.

  • In just ten days of bombing Laos, the U.S. spent $130M (in 2013 dollars), or more than it has spent in clean up over the past 24 years ($118M).

You say these things while letting the enemies of America and the Free world get a pass??? Shame on you for your one-sided attack on this nation (the USA).

We were the one nation that had the resources and ability to give aid to our allies in their time of great need. We are not sorry for that nor shall we ever be sorry for that.

You're saying US forces fighting against ISIS are not fighting for our freedom ? And US forces in Afghanistan are not fighting for our freedom ? What about fighting to be free from nuclear annihilation ? You don't see them as fighting for that ?
No to all the above. They are not even close to fighting to defend America

Wars cost, and one thing about us is that if we miscalculate or do things wrong, at least we are strong enough to admit to it, fix it, and move on. We don't start wars, our enemies do, but we can finish them if nessesary.

Not always fighting to defend America, because sometimes we are fighting for others in the world who want the same chances and freedom we have.

I see alot of selfish post being written here.

This nation isn't selfish, and if consensus is met, then our generosity can go all the way around the world if need be.

But there is always blowback - 9/11 for instance. If we were not trying regime change in the Middle East, 9/11 may never have happened... Rember you trained BinLaden in the first place.

These public displays shouldn't take place at all. The Empire needs to bring all their forces HOME and mind it's own business...but I know that happen. Why? Because the ruling class won't let it.

This crap that US forces are fighting for our freedom, is just such utter and disgusting propaganda. They are fighting for the ruling class, as they have always done. They are pawns in the game the elites are playing.

PS - the word "Empire" comes from the word Imperialism. Did you know that the US is the # 1 VICTIM of Imperalism in the world today ? ($138 Billion/year)
We need to evaluate what it takes to eliminate the enemy and just do it; collateral damage be damned.

Where our nation gets into trouble abroad, is when we take sides with those whom might be against the ideological thinking of others within a waring nation for which sprung up to do violence against those whom we are allide with in the nation abroad, and yet that same ideology also exist here amongst us in this nation as well. It has been a major problem trying to fight an enemy abroad, and then being underminded here at home by those sympathetic to our supposed enemy abroad.

When this happens, not only are we fighting a war abroad, but we end up having to defend against those here that begin to undermine our efforts abroad because they see this nation as being at war with the very ideology in which they may secretly believe in.

The complexity of war and of peace is not for the faint of heart. Cherry picking is always the work of those never letting a good crisis go to waste.
