Saying that allowing someone to admit they are gay without repercussions will lead to sexual assault is a lie.

Saying that gays coming out puts a "strain on straight marriages" is a lie.

Saying that allowing gays to exist will take away the rights of Military Chaplin's is a lie.

I don't care about DADT. It's a liberal creation that liberals are not whining about because it's oppressive. If you didn't create it in the first place, we wouldn't have this stupid issue to worry about.

If I as a recruiter were to have some flaming ass gay guy wearing a dress or some bull dyke wearing a chain wallet and flannel come in and want to be a soldier, I would think twice about whether they would make a good soldier, just the same as if some dude walked in with a neo-natzi tatoo & T-shirt or some chick with a mini-skirt and no panties came in there.... You should leave all that at home and come there as if you were trying to get a job. Not make a statement and create the need to sue for descrimination. (b/c thats what is going to happen -- lawsuits out the ass!)

There is a time and a place for sex, opinions, and dressing like a whore, but when you are trying to get a job, forget it.... the employer should have the right to say get the Hell out... you are unfit for the job.

There are lots of good gay soldiers out there right now.... they just leave the sex issue for their personal time. Thats the way it should be.

Just because you don't agree with them, does not mean they are lying. Wrong yes, lying, not necessarily.

I don't happen to agree with those statements either, but do not consider that someone who does believe that gays coming out of the closet puts a strain on straight marriage is lying. If they believe it, then they are telling the truth as they know it despite the fact that they are wrong.

And no, to answer the question in the title of this thread, it is not okay to lie.

However, you would have to prove to me that John McCain is actually a Christian in the same manner that you would have to prove to me that either Bill Clinton or Barack Obama are Christian.

Either one of those three may very well be Christian, but the fact that they may be does not mean that they are perfect human beings. We all know for a fact that Bill Clinton was involved in sin when he had sexual relations with Monica Lewinsky and also that he was involved in sin when he said, "I did not have sexual relations with that woman... Ms. Lewinsky" as we know that was a lie. Having committed those sins, does not mean that Bill Clinton is not a Christian. He and God can deal with those matters when the time comes.
