The auto industry has ALWAYS sold cars on credit to SUBPRIME borrowers.

Anybody remember these lyrics from the song "Do you know the way to San Jose" in the MID 60s?

Not entirely accurate. Auto dealers and the industry did not loan the money in the old days. It was still up to banks, though the sales manager at a dealership could often get financing for a customer with a phone call to his buddy at the lending institution.

You know how many liberals drive GM products? Pelosi doesn't, Reid doesn't, my neighbor down the street doesn't. I see Obama stickers on cars, few if any are on a GM product. BTW Franco how is your VOLT running, what gas mileage do you get with it?

I want to build my own electric powered trike. I know I can do it at home. Now, that would be taking charge of personal transportation (except for the solar panels I haven't found out to make at home for the electricity for the trike)!

Presently, most of my kilometers are done on two wheels with muscle power.
