Is Donald Trump a relaistic candidate?

Trump is demonstrating resilience, so far.

My gut is that he can't get to the GOP nomination.

He has said that he will stay in the GOP race if he is treated "fairly" and go 3d Party if he is not.

What he thinks is "fair" in politics is going to be interesting.

He is proving everyone wrong so far. More and more it looks like Americans want a populist and Trump and Sanders are providing that outlet. For both it will depend on how the masses view them once they start paying attention. So far we are only seeing the political activist and hard core fans of national politics. Wait till the summer is over and everyday folks start paying more attention.

Damn more realistic than that thing in as President now

bozo the clown would be more realistic than Obama/Biden. that queen clown Hillary, the 100 year old Socialist Bernie the clown. and the clowns just marches on

I don't think Trump will get the nod, but what HAS happened is that people like his demeanor and message. Other candidates had better get the message and stop being all things to all people. They want the truth from their leaders. And, I think the electorate is sophisticated enough to realize they won't agree 100% with any candidate.

They want someone who tells it like it is and they want action. Trump has demonstrated that but he still isn't President material.

Reuters Poll: Trump Leads Republican Presidential Race with 25 Percent (Jeb 12%)

Newsmax ^ | Wednesday, 29 Jul 2015
Billionaire Donald Trump has taken a commanding lead in the race for the 2016 U.S. Republican presidential nomination with the support of 25 percent in a Reuters/Ipsos poll, giving him a double-digit advantage over nearest rival Jeb Bush. The poll shows Bush, the former Florida governor, trailing at 12 percent. It is a huge jump for Trump, who announced his candidacy for the November 2016 election six weeks ago - and this despite the criticism political rivals leveled at him for remarks this month belittling the military service of Senator John McCain, the party's candidate in 2008. -snip- Trump, a...

He has had a very liberal stance on some issues, will not be nominated by the GOP.

why the hell is this question never asked of these Democrats?

O'Malley is a civilian running, the other two are old fogies and nothing but Career Politicians From Congress. At least O'Malley was a governor from what I hear. So wonderful I don't remember a damn thing about him.

It amuses me that both the left and right do not understand this.... Come on people, George Washington was NOT a politician, did what he did to better his country....The Donald CAN'T BE BOUGHT, and will ALWAYS be well off....does it take that much SUSPENSION OF REALITY to realize that SOMEONE of this time actually cares, when 99.5% of the political class are in it for themselves?
