But I've heard other posters refer to him..as "her".

So now I am confused. I don't particularly care, but when I make fun of him, or her, I always pause over the pronoun. I hate that. It disrupts my groove.

He used to be male until he visited Cuba.

Not only am I confused about Del's gender..but for months I thought the ostrich was a weird looking muppet. It was like an optical illusion for me. I thought the eyes were ears, and the nostrils were weird squinty eyes.
