Is anyone scared that if the government doesn't make 'sweeping changes' with a one week notice, the shit will totally hit the fan on Monday?

Not yet but have nothing against those who might be a bit.

There is real danger out there for a lot of folks. However, if the government gets out of the way I'm sure we can be fine in short order.

Just thoughts IMHO.

Yes.

I am very, very worried.

I don't know if the system will collapse if they don't get a deal by this weekend - and I think they probably will. But the odds are as high as they have been since the Depression that it could happen.

I also don't know that they can prevent it, even if they get the deal done.

I appreciate the sentiment, dude. I am a little nervous, but not worried.

I saw Bushes address tonight... I can remember that same face telling me to be sacred of WMD's in Iraq.

Fool me once...

I fear that we're getting bamboozled, folks.

We're going to take on all the bad paper and let these banks continue going?

Why?

Why should we should we bail out the banks and take on only their bad paper?

Screw 'em.

We take the bad paper we take the whole operation.

Take it or leave it.

Can't you ever make up your mind?

Just yesterday you're talking about how we should trust Bernanke. Now you're basically saying we shouldn't, and that we should let them fail.
