Almost every Organized Church provides some charity. I know of several local churches that do ever thing from provide shelters to utility bill and rent help, Food drives etc.

A church is not automatically a charity buy most do provide charity. When they pass around the pan and people give, they know that some of that money will go to build up the church and some will go to charity. Yet they still do it. Why do you have such a problem with that?

the problem is that proselytizing and patronization are not in of themselves charitable functions, and yet these are the PRIMARY functions of most churches. It is a complete waste of commercial real estate, parishioners money, etc.
