Not the middle of nowhere
OK...........tell me this isnt the most hysterical kick in the balls ever for the global warming religion??:fu::boobies::lmao::funnyface::fu::boobies::lmao::funnyface::fu::boobies::lmao::funnyface:

Coldest temperatures recorded in the LAST 100 YEARS on the last day of the Cancun Global Warming Summit!!!

Irony alert: The unusually chilly global-warming summit - The Week

Irony alert: The unusually chilly global-warming summit
Cancun is hosting the U.N. conference on man-made climate change — amid record cold temperatures

posted on December 9, 2010, at 11:57 AM

The irony: As negotiators from nearly 200 countries met in Cancun to strategize ways to keep the planet from getting hotter, the temperature in the seaside Mexican city plunged to a 100-year record low of 54° F. Climate-change skeptics are gleefully calling Cancun's weather the latest example of the "Gore Effect" — a plunge in temperature they say occurs wherever former Vice President Al Gore, now a Nobel Prize-winning environmental activist, makes a speech about the climate. Although Gore is not scheduled to speak in Cancun, "it could be that the Gore Effect has announced his secret arrival," jokes former NASA scientist Roy W. Spencer.

Is this not the quintessential smash mouth irony of all ironies s0ns??

Merry Christmas Morons!!!!

ps..........and by the way.........even before the record cold blew in, the summit was blown up!!! Virtually nobody cared about this event except for the hard core environmental jarheads. Shit.......the New York Times didnt even send a reporter AND Barbara Boxer didnt send as much as a staffer( two years ago, this WAS her gig!!)!!!

Oh but dont take my word for it.........jus go and read the articles the past few days over at RealClearPolitics. Evidently, one thing is clearly settled: the science is not.:fu::fu::fu::fu:

I posted this over at the other Big GW thread...what a riot..

"When Vicky Pope, the Met Office’s Head of Climate Change Advice, wanted to fly out from Gatwick to Cancun to tell them that 2010 is the hottest year on record, she was trapped by inches of the same global warming that her £33 million computer had failed to predict".

Much colder continental temperatures, at the same time, much warmer Arctic temperatures. Interesting pattern. In spite of the La Nina, I think the temperatures next summer will be setting some new records.

Arctic Sea Ice News & Analysis

Conditions in context

As temperatures drop in autumn, open water areas on the Arctic coastal seas quickly refreeze. After this rapid increase in ice extent during October, ice growth slows in November. This November, ice extent over the entire Arctic grew at an average rate of 74,000 square kilometers per day (28,600 miles per day), which is slower than average. However, local weather conditions kept ice extent very low in some locations, contributing to the low extent for the month.

Near-surface air temperatures over the Siberian and Alaskan side of the Arctic were 3 to 5 degrees Celsius (5 to 9 degrees Fahrenheit) warmer than normal in November. Air temperatures over Baffin Bay were also unusually warm (8 degrees Celsius, or 14 degrees Fahrenheit above average). The warm air came from two sources: unfrozen areas of the ocean continued to release heat to the atmosphere; and a circulation pattern brought warm air into the Arctic from the south.

Old Crock, does somebody pay you to have the last word, does it bug you so much that you cannot even join in and ad some humor. I tell you what, I will send you a link to the "dailyjoke", that way you can link to something funny.

If Portland doesnt hit a 100 f. this January Old Crock is going to be miserable.

jesus Christ, when its cold its because of GW, when its hot its because its GW.....logic only those steeped in the brandy of dogma could love or come up with.

Thats how many times for posting up this link in the past 6 months? About 150?!!!:lol:

Doesnt make you look like a k00k extremist at all:boobies::boobies::boobies::2up:

Meanwhile, in England, they are talking about cancelling Christmas. Since Thanksgiving, they are experienceing the coldest temperatures in almost 400 years!!! A non-story for the k00ks.

But it is a big story to the common person who doesnt give a shit about the canned science. They see England frozen in a block of ice and say to themselves, "All the global warming stuff is a bunch of bull shit!!". Of course they do.........because its simple common sense..........and that sentiment has risen enormously in the consciousness of the public over the past two or three years. This was clearly evident the past two weeks during the Global Warming Summit in Cancun. The only news coming out of Cancun was about a total lack of interest by the general public. Indeed, it was nothing more than like a meeting of a religious group of seriously closed minded people.

Indeed..........there is zero recognition by the global warming true believers that there is linkage between the politics of the science and the science. But there is..........it is everything. And over the past two years, the entire dynamic has changed. In 2010, concerns about global warming exist only in one place: the far reaches of the internet. Nowhere else. It has become nothing more than a hobby.........to debate the interpretation of the "science".

Only the environmental radicals think this is still a hot topic...........and you're talking far less than 5% of the population.

If there is a great spirit of the Earth, this is the proof of it. Every time a group of over officious snobs gets together to save the Earth from the warming that they claim to have produced, She snows on them, freezes them and floods them.

It's good to know that Mother Nature has a sense of humor.

It's also good to know that She knows a good butt for her jokes when she sees them.
