Gerry Duffy
Gerry has been running the roads around Mullingar for the past 14 years. Now aged 42, Gerry first took up running in 1995 to lose a few stone. He soon found that his day wouldn’t be complete without getting a run in. In 2003 he was asked by a friend to do the swim leg in a sprint triathlon. Before long he was trying the three disciplines himself. Always one to keep raising the bar in terms of challenges, in 2008 he completed two IRONMAN triathlons (UK and France).
