I don't want to ever see the day returning vets are treated like Vietnam vets were.

I worry sometimes though. I had a conversation with a hospital corpsman who just returned from duty in Iraq. He's a great guy, a hell of a corpsman and can outrun nearly all the marines he served with. He's also a Philly-born and raised happy to admit democrat. Too bad for him it didn't protect him when he went to surprise his girlfriend at penn state university in his dress uniform, some college kids spit on him and called him a war criminal. I never thought I would see something like that in my time, but I guess its reached that point. Disilluisonment's a bitch.

That's just sad as all hell. :(:( Where the hell do people get off...

This is too surreal; I can’t believe this crap is happening again.

That must have been the reason I saw the anti-Bush/Chenney sign with the words spray painted in red “Blood Money”
Some people are turning against the war; thinking it must be about money.
I heard that some people were getting into fights at the early voting booths.
Now I can’t wait for this election to come and go.

This is truly sad.

You know this makes me so mad I can't even think clearl;y enough to type!!!!
