"The Iraqi economy entered into a phase of escalating growth," Iraqi government economic advisor Abdul Hussein al-Anbaki told Mawtani.

The country's gross national product (GNP) has increased "as a result of a growth in the domestic product, particularly in the oil sector", he said, adding that oil production capacity is currently about 3.2 million barrels a day.

So instead of being gassed by their own government, some Iraqi's are enjoying increased wages... Such a nice byproduct of what some called an unjust war.
