Iraq and Afghanistan Vets in Congress

A salute to the recently elected Veterans in Congress who served in Afghanistan and Iraq. If I'm missing any, please correct me.

Hopefully, in the coming years we'll elect more Iraq and Afghanistan Vets. It's important to have leaders in congress who know the meaning of war, IMO:

-Admiral Joe Sestak (D-Pennsylvania) - Three-star admiral who led an aircraft carrier battle group during U.S. operations in Afghanistan.

-Captain Patrick Murphy (D-Pennsylvania): 82nd Airborne Division. Captain Murphy earned the Bronze Star for service in Iraq.

-Sergeant Major Tim Walz (D-Minnesota): Overseas duty with his battalion in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.
