Video: Iranian President-Elect Mahmoud Ahmadi-Nejad- Islam "will conquer all the mountain tops of the world"

Clip_782Iranian President-Elect Mahmoud Ahmadi-Nejad: "Is There Art that Is More Beautiful, More Divine, and More Eternal than the Art of Martyrdom?"

You Can watch the video HERE.

Translation & Video by Memri TV.org

The following are excerpts from a speech by Iranian President-Elect Mahmoud Ahmadi-Nejad, which aired on Iranian Channel 1 on July 25, 2005. ( Transcript )

Ahmadi-Nejad: We want art that is on the offensive. Art on the offensive exalts and defends the noble principles, and attacks principles that are corrupt, vulgar, ungodly, and inhuman.

Art reaches perfection when it portrays the best life and best death. After all, art tells you how to live. That is the essence of art. Is there art that is more beautiful, more divine, and more eternal than the art of martyrdom? A nation with martyrdom knows no captivity. Those who wish to undermine this principle undermine the foundations of our independence and national security. They undermine the foundation of our eternity.

The message of the (Islamic) Revolution is global, and is not restricted to a specific place or time. It is a human message, and it will move forward.

Have no doubt... Allah willing, Islam will conquer what? It will conquer all the mountain tops of the world.

And we're suppose to just let him have a nuclear bomb? The same man who the US just concluded was a leader of the movement behind the 1979 hostage crisis at the US embassy in Tehran is preaching the virtues of martyrdom.

This is Radical Islam. This is what we are fighting. This is evil.

Update: Why don't we hear this story in the MSM? Why has the MSM not reported "Fmr Iranian President calls for Ganji's release"?

Does the MSM even know about Ganji? At least Kofi Annan admits his "ignorance" of Ganji.

Iran says will resume nuclear work on Monday

Iran said on Sunday it would definitely resume some sensitive nuclear fuel activities on Monday after the European Union failed to meet Tehran's deadline to submit proposals to break a diplomatic impasse.

"As we did not receive the EU proposal, naturally we will definitely resume work at the Isfahan plant tomorrow," a senior Iranian nuclear official told Reuters on condition of anonymity.
Blackmail anyone?

The Islamic Republic issued a Sunday deadline for the EU to submit its plans for the economic and political incentives it would provide in return for Iran's indefinite suspension of uranium enrichment, nuclear fuel reprocessing and related activities.

But the British Foreign Office said the EU, represented by Britain, France and Germany, had informed Iran only that "full and detailed proposals" would be delivered in a week.

The conversion plant near the central city of Isfahan takes processed uranium ore, mined in Iran's central desert, and turns it into uranium hexafluoride gas. This gas can be pumped into centrifuges that spin at supersonic speed to enrich uranium.

Enriched uranium is used in nuclear power plants, but if highly enriched can be used in atomic weaponry.

The EU and the United States suspect Iran is trying to build a nuclear arsenal and say that, if Iran restarts uranium conversion or enrichment, they will ask the U.N. Security Council to impose sanctions on the Islamic Republic.

Tehran insists its program is peaceful and that it only wants nuclear power to generate electricity.
