What are the Iranian protesters angry about? Is this similar to the 2009 protests or are they protesting something different? You can't get answers to these basic questions because our obsessive partisan media is too busy parsing President Trump's Tweets. How pathetic is that? To get a reasonable explanation of what is going on, I had to go to Aljazeera online. They of course took their jabs at Trump but at least they explained that the protesters are mostly about poor economic conditions that persist in Iran along with Iranian foreign policies.

Our media is failing at their job because of their obsession with taking down President Trump. This is the latest example of how poor the journalism has become.

I have seen no coverage even on Fox.
It's on the scroll. More important things to cover than Tweets.
Trumps tweets are designed to trigger leftists who chase every comment like a cat after a laser light while pushing his agenda behind the scenes.
Tweeting stupid? Absolutely...but those obsessed with his tweets come across as unhinged.

YEAH , Not much coverage but 'brit' chick on FOX is saying that 'pro gov' basiji types are out doing pro gov rallies .

Of course, the Rouhani regime wants to downplay the unrest, so he trots out his stooges to counter the people's protests with pro government rallies.

In this case Rouhani has a point. With Trump's advocacy of fossil fuels and especially NG Iran is in the deepest of trouble.
