Iranian Passport: Institutionalized hatred

A Jewish Iranian parliamentarian, on a visit to the European Parliament this week , said Iran’s Jewish community doesn’t face major problems today and stressed that Iranian President Ahmadinejad’s statements on the Holocaust “are not shared by other leaders in the country.” In an interview with EJP, Morsadegh pointed out that with 25,000 people, the Jewish community of Iran is the largest in the Middle East, after Israel.
“We are living in a religious country as a religious minority. Of course we have some problems. I don’t want to say that everything is ok. But at this moment we don’t have major problems. Our day-to-day conditions are improving and our situation is now more stable and better than it was in the early years of the Iranian revolution when Jews and Muslims weren’t equal,” the 42-year-old physician who was elected in the Majlis as an independent candidate

“Of course, according to the law, it is prohibited for Iranian Jews to visit Israel but the government closes the eyes,” he added.” “Iranian Jews go to Israel and other countries and when they come back they have no problems.”

Iranian Jews do not go into Iran with any Israeli stamp on any passport, Iranian or otherwise. If they enter Israel with an Iranian passport then the Israelis will most likely not stamp their passports. As a US citizen you can also request the Israelis not to stamp your US passport upon entry if for example you are born in Iran or a similar country, or if you plan to travel to Iran, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan etc. some day. It is up to the Israeli customs officer if to comply, but generally they do, because they are aware of the problems.

Did you know that on the last page of every Iranian passport there is a phrase that makes it illegal to travel to Israel? In other words, they consider ALL of Israel occupied, and if they catch a non Iranian passport with an Israeli stamp in it, the person is immediately arrested and put in prison for being a "Zionist"?

and this surprises you?

interestingly, you don't see 50 threads a day on the racist iranis... or irani apartheid.
Iranian govt like many Muslim countries officially practice a form of Islamic apartheid based on Shariah law, which declares that non Muslims not be accorded the same rights as Muslims do, in the eyes of the state and God. Any country that follows Islamic Shariah law is an apartheid country. No surprises there either.
