The US will not attack Syria. The US will help the muslim brotherhood to attack Syria.

» Official: Iran would take action if US attacked Syria Alex Jones' Infowars: There's a war on for your mind!

Good I hope they do. Israel and the US needs put back in their place..its obvious to me that the US and Israel are losing support and influence throughout the world and that is a very good thing...
Iran better pray they don't interfere if Israel attacks Syria...

Their sovereignty would be over along with about 20 million people.

Good to know that you are cheering for the death of so many people.

Syria No-Fly Zone Proposal Lacks Support
September 14, 2012: For months, Syrian opposition forces fighting government troops have been calling - with very little success - for foreign military intervention.
But Western defense experts are debating whether the establishment of a no-fly zone over Syria might get more international support. Analysts said it is essential to first define the parameters and goals of a no-fly zone - an airspace in which certain aircraft, especially military ones, are forbidden to fly. Retired Navy Captain Ben Renda flew aircraft patrolling the no-fly zone over northern Iraq in the late 1990s, said "If the goal of the no-fly zone is to be another arm in the rebels' military game plan, that would not be received well." However, he said "if the no-fly zone is implemented to provide safe havens for refugees, for example, then that would obviously probably garner more international support and be an easier sell both domestically and internationally."

U.N. support not needed

If an international coalition decides to impose and enforce a no-fly zone over Syria, it does not necessarily need the United Nations to approve the action to give it legitimacy. Experts say there was no U.N. Security Council resolution establishing the no-fly zones over southern and northern Iraq from 1991 to 2003. Those zones were patrolled by the United States and Britain, with some initial help from France.

But last year the Security Council passed a resolution setting up a no-fly zone over Libya to protect civilians from attacks by the forces of Libyan leader Moammar Gadhafi. At the same time, the resolution authorized member states to "take all necessary measures" to ensure the ban on flights. Russia and China abstained from voting on the resolution, in essence giving the go ahead for the Libyan no-fly zone. But Moscow and Beijing said the action ultimately led to regime change, an outcome the two countries did not sanction. Paul Smyth, a British defense expert and a former Royal Air Force navigator in a squadron patrolling the no-fly zone in southern Iraq in the 1990s, said Russia and China are now more cautious.

"The difficulty with Syria compared to Libya, is that whereas Russia and China perhaps gave approval to a resolution for Libya, they found that it was not used in the way that they had hoped it would be used," Smyth said. "I wouldn't say that they had been duped, I wouldn't use that term, but having been bitten in Libya, they are unlikely to repeat the same mistake in Syria." Russia and China have already vetoed three U.N. Security Council resolutions on Syria, some of them calling for economic sanctions on President Bashar al-Assad's government. Experts say it is highly unlikely Moscow and Beijing would sanction the establishment of a no-fly zone over Syria.

U.N. backing preferred

Iran, Russia operating joint command on Syria
9.29.12, Al-Arabiya network says it plans to publish 'highly-classified documents' revealing roles
Saudi news network al-Arabiya has announced its plan Saturday to reveal “newly-leaked and highly-classified documents” obtained with the assistance of the Syrian opposition. According to the network, the new information sheds light on the crisis in Syria and on the countries aiding the Damascus regime. It has been claimed, for example, that Iran and Russia have set up a joint command which intervenes and issues orders on every single matter related to the situation in Syria. According to a report on al-Arabiya's website, the network will also publish new details about what happened to the Turkish fighter-jet downed by the Syrian army several months ago, as well as documents which reveal the Syrian regime’s role in attempting to shake Jordan’s and Lebanon’s stability.

The documents are also expected to disclose Hezbollah’s role in the crisis, showing how the Lebanese terror organization received written and clear orders from the highest authorities to "eradicate" Syrian activists and carry out a series of bombings across the country. Meanwhile Saturday, fighting raged in a strategic district of Syria's commercial capital Aleppo, the third day of an all-out rebel offensive to seize the city, monitors said. The focal point of combat was Salaheddin, a rebel stronghold on the southwest side of the city where insurgents attacked an army position, said the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.

Elsewhere in the country, forces loyal to President Bashar Assad shelled localities in the southern province of Daraa, where fighting was also taking place, as well as in Deir Ezzor in the east and the capital itself. At least six soldiers were killed in Daraa, while four civilians died in the Deir Ezzor shelling and two rebels were killed. An unspecified number of people were wounded in Damascus. In the Aleppo province locality of Maskana, a year-old baby died, and his mother and brother were wounded by shelling. Across the country, at least 117 people had been killed on Friday, 71 of them civilians, the Observatory said.
