Holocaust Film to Be Broadcast to Iran

LOS ANGELES —You just can’t keep an Oscar-winning documentary down. “Genocide,” a Holocaust film that won the best documentary feature Oscar in 1982, resurfaced this week in one of the unlikeliest of settings: On satellite broadcasts into Iran and elsewhere in the Middle East.
Rabbi Marvin Hier, who is the dean and founder of the Simon Wiesenthal Center here, as well as a producer of “Genocide,” said two showings of the documentary were scheduled for broadcast on Friday by opponents of the current government of Iran. “This is a big thing,” Rabbi Hier said in a telephone interview this week. “Iran is the center of denial of the Holocaust in the entire world.”

A similar 2005 effort by the Wiesenthal Center broadcast a short clip of the film into Iran; but this time around, the entire documentary, which has a running time of 88 minutes, is being shown, and posted online and streamed on Iranntv.com.

The broadcasts, Rabbi Hier added, were timed to introduce the United Nations Holocaust Remembrance Day, which is Sunday.

The story of the millions of men, women and children who fell victim to Hitler’s “Final Solution.” A unique multi-image documentary, which combines historical narrative with actual stories of ordinary people, caught up in the Nazi reign of terror. Narrated by Elizabeth Taylor and Orson Welles.

General Eisenhower and the rest of the American GIs who liberated Europe would have laughed in this Muslim convert's face. And Eisenhower certainly knew that there would be crackpots like Sunni Man who would deny the Holocaust. One thing you have to say about Sunni Man. whomever was the one responsible for convincing him to convert sure did a good job at brainwashing him. And, I hope that Sunni Man doesn't fall for the nonsense that his newly adopted Sunni brethren are really so peaceful when they are always busy murdering innocent people. Maybe Sunni Man himself keeps a chart of how many people each Sunni suicide bomber has taken out. Do you send regular contributions to their families, Sunni Man, since the suicide bomber is no longer around to help them.

Marg, since Sunni Man is constantly making himself look like a big fool with his asinine remarks about the Holocaust (I guess all converts are told to deny the Holocaust just as they are probably told to deny that the Muslims have murdered millions and millions since the inception of Islam), perhaps he should sit down and read a book written by a German who saw what was happening.

I will reiterate for you. A truer statement would be that most of the converts to Islam come from our jails where the radical Muslims convince the convicts that Islam is for them.than for someone to say that the Holocaust is a hoax. Why not read the book Five Chimneys, Sunni Man. It was written by a Christian woman in a concentration camp. She would be amazed if she were around you to say that it was all a hoax when she lived through it. I wonder what the Muslims like Sunni Man think they will be getting if they keep on stating the lie that the Holocaust was a hoax. Do they think (in lieu of becoming a martyr by blowing themselves up as a suicide bomber) that they too will be getting 72 Virgins in the Islamic cathouse in the sky?
