RAMALLAH, (PIC)-- The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) kidnapped on Wednesday evening Palestinian lawmaker and senior Hamas official Hasan Yousuf at Za'tara military checkpoint north of Ramallah city.
News reports said that MP Yousuf, his wife and kids were traveling back from Jenin after a family visit to his daughter.
The lawmaker and his family tried not to cross many Israeli barriers on their way back to avoid arbitrary detention, but the IOF kidnapped him at Za'tara checkpoint between Ramallah and Nablus cities after detaining him and his family members for about six hours.
The IOF had released MP Yousuf about a month ago after six years of arbitrary imprisonment on a charge of his affiliation with Hamas Movement.
