Interesting story on Sidewinder missile

Came across this story on the history of the famous sidewinder missile. We export the newest version to 10 countries but in the new combat enviroment envisioned for the US fighters other radar missles are looked at as the first launch weapons and are expected to down most enemy fighters/bombers. Of course expectations are a far way from reality in combat. Good article.
