Interesting: Righties are not upset about Jared Kushner & Staff using a Private Server

I did not realize that having a private email server was illegal. Can you point which law that is again?

They were not "highly classified" at the time of being sent or received.

The FBI pulled TS/SCI-level classified documents off of her un-authorized, un-encrypted, un-secured server that she had given unauthorized persons (like her MAID) access to.

At one point the STATE DEPARTMENT stated that recently released documents (at that time), which were almost blacked out from being redacted, were 'so classified that the release of this information could cause 'exceptionally grave damage' to our national security'.

"The seven email chains, the State Department said, would cause "exceptionally grave damage" to national security if publicly released."

'It' don't get much more 'ILLEGAL' than that.

(Not to mention the FBI having found over 15,000 official documents never turned in as required by the FOIA and Federal Records Act.)

We know that many in government used private email both left & right. could some one please point out the actual damage that was done from Any of the email use. before or now.

Let's go over this AGAIN, shall we...because this never gets old.

Having a Private Server is not illegal, AS LONG AS YOU OBERY ALL GOVERNING RULES, REGULATIONS, AND LAWS.
- Colin Powell and Susan Rice, as Democrats like to remind everyone, had private servers they used for official business. What they always seem to skip over is how neither of them broke the law.

Hillary Clinton took all the required training and refresher training to be eligible to handle classified. She signed numerous documents stating she was fully aware of all of them, despite Comey justifying his decision not to recommend Hillary for Indictment because 'she was too stupid to know she was breaking the law'.
- Hillary even sent out an Inner-Agency Memo warning her State Department employees NOT to do what she did because they could end up breaking the law...as she did.

Hillary's server was not authorized, it was not encrypted according to the laws governing it, and it was not SECURE, as per laws and regulations. (It was illegally stored in the BATHROOM, for gosh sakes, of a small IT company that did not have the required security clearance to even have it in their possession.)

Hillary allowed persons (like her MAID) who had no security clearance to access the information despite, again, the State Dept declaring information on her server was so TOP SECRET that illegal access / release of this information would cause 'exceptionally grave danger to our national security'.

Hillary violated / disobeyed an FBI Subpoena requiring her to turn over EVERYTHING. Instead she illegally obstructed justice by illegally destroying files / documents, illegally using Bleach Bit to wipe her server, illegally destroyed devices with hammers - against laws dictating the proper / legal method of destroying classified devices, removed SIM cards out of devices she did turn in, and only turned in a few of her devices - instead of turning over EVERYTHING as the FBI's subpoena specified.

The FBI declared they were still able to recover from her server over 15,000 official documents Hillary never turned in as required by the law, violations of both the FOIA and the Federal Records Act.

Can I point out / to the LAW Hillary broke. Take your pick - there are quite a few mentioned in there she violated.

Evidence as set forth by USMB Special Prosecutor and Nickname in Chief Mr. "Easyt65"

ANYONE who has ever worked with classified information is smarter than you and knew immediately upon hearing the details of Hillary's server scandal that she had broken NUMEROUS laws and that if she had been ANYONE else - especially a Conservative / Republican - they would be going to jail for a very long time.

At this point I am going to ask you to take your shiny tinfoil 'Denial-Inducing Helmet' off so you can grasp this....not that I actually expect you to....

Let's go over this AGAIN, shall we...because this never gets old.
-- THIS TIME, THIS ONE IS JUST FOR YOU, TEDDY, AND YOU ALONE, BECAUSE YOU'RE 'SPECIAL'.

For the slow readers and stubborn reality deniers, let me emphasize this one again:

Included in the documents recovered from Hillary's server were 7 especially critical / illegal documents / e-mail chains, AS POINTED OUT BY THE STATE DEPARTMENT HILLARY USED TO RUN:

"The seven email chains, the State Department said, would cause "exceptionally grave damage" to national security if publicly released."

OK, but will you please point out what damage was done by the private email use of Any one republican or democrat from email inception to this very day.

"News reports published over the past six months, citing anonymous government officials, suggested the top secret emails referred to covert CIA drone strikes in Pakistan. Other reports said the emails may have identified CIA operatives who were working undercover.

In a
letter sent to the heads of congressional oversight committees on January 14, Charles McCullough, the intelligence community's inspector general, said he received two sworn declarations from Intelligence Community members who determined that Clinton's communications contained information deemed to be "CONFIDENTIAL, SECRET, and TOP SECRET/SAP."

Again, "The seven email chains, the State Department said, would cause "exceptionally grave damage" to national security if publicly released."

Ummm....again, the only thing that needs to be said / pointed out here is that Hillary Clinton did violate NUMEROUS laws and illegally jeopardized national security. (Pretty impressive for the DNC's 'Presidential Candidate'. :p )

"The seven email chains, the State Department said, would cause "exceptionally grave damage" to national security if publicly released."

But nothing was done to hillary.
Nothing except for being continuously vilified by the Republicans and their sycophants in the media to the point that her use of private email for government business became a major contributing factor in her losing a Presidential Election.

Once we're seeing that the shoe of hypocrisy does indeed fit both feet.
It wasn't simply her use of a private server that she was attacked for, it's the fact that she used it to send and receive highly classified documents. The later is a serious crime.

Of course, you're engaging in the typical leftwing tactic of focusing on details that aren't central to the issue.
They were not "highly classified" at the time of being sent or received. This is why conservatives always end up upset in this kind of argument. Because they can't deny the fact that no classified markings were present as the emails were sent or received from Hillary's email account, therefore killing the "intent" aspect that is required for the crime to be committed.
Another leftwing lie. That claim has been debunked repeatedly.

The former FBI director demonstrated how it is not harmful to use a private server on so many levels. No prosecutor would find these people guilty of wrong doing, remember? If they didn't INTEND to break the law, you will be forgiven. :(

A 1st year law student knows 'Ignorance of the law' is NOT a legal defense for breaking the law.

Everyone knows that except Comey, it appears.

How many people know the difference between a private email account and a private email server? Both can be used for private email but their impact, from a security risk perspective, is significant. First, everyone has a private email account. Working in public service, you are not prohibited from using that account. BUT, there are guidelines. If you are a high-ranking Government official and you are using your role and influence to send /receive email through that account that contains sensitive information, at a minimum, you need to have your wrist slapped. It is unsecure but no where near the level of insecurity and risk if you are running your own server and storing official business emails on that server. Hillary Clinton engaged in this and put her own political welfare above national security interests in doing so. Sight unseen, Liberals swore that the server was secure and had not been hacked yet that same mindset is in play with certainty that the Russians hacked our Election with the help of Trump. Think about that: Hillary's email server sits out in the wild for God knows how long and the sheep are certain it was not hacked or compromised yet they are furious with certainty our elections were hacked.

Anytime you put a server of any kind be it an application, message, or pure storage, if it is not secure by standards, it is harmful on many levels. The former FBI director knows this and he was speaking on the assumption that the private server was secured and forensicly proven not to have been compromised.

It was rumored that after an initial inspection of Hillary's e-mail server / system the FBI IG informed Hillary:

"After careful consideration I have come to the
conclusion that your system SUCKS!"

:p

(For those too young, that was a quote from the movie 'War Games'.)

We couldn't get past a day during the election slamming Clinton about private servers...OMG

I call it: First excuse Fake News

The Brazenness of Trump's White House Staff Using Private Email

“Presidential son-in-law and senior adviser Jared Kushner has corresponded with other administration officials about White House matters through a private email account set up during the transition last December,” Dawsey wrote. “Kushner and his wife, Ivanka Trump, set up their private family domain late last year before moving to Washington from New York, according to people with knowledge of events as well as publicly available internet registration records.”

Well it's coming from their side of the isle which is why they're not concerned about it.

In reality Hillary Clinton was just doing what her predecessors, Colin Powell & Condi Rice did--and the Reich wing reacted like she had just handed over classified information to the Russians like Trump did---
