there is no room for disagreement on established historical facts. He is either lying or uninformed. There is no way around that. In either scenario, he should have checked the facts before using false information to argue his case, when dealing with common knowledge matters like historical forms of marriage in Western society and the Middle East.

as far as i know were a constitutional republic

but the courts have spoken, they said, prop 8 stands
