So now President Trump is calling Republican senators "quitters" if they don't hold another healthcare vote right away. Well two factors are at play here.

The President is the head of his party, the Grand Poobah, the Big Cheese, Numero Uno, the Beloved Leader, yet he could not get his minions in Congress to repeal and replace Obamacare. That is a complete lack of leadership on his part. The fact that he could not deliver on his promise to repeal and replace, the holy grail of Republicans, points directly to his lack of respect as the party leader.

Or, perhaps Republicans simply recognized that Obamacare is a much better plan than Trumpcare. Replacing Obamacare with Trumpcare, while cutting taxes for the wealthy, eliminating Medicaid and killing Planned Parenthood, would be disastrous for our country, leaving many millions of Americans uninsured, many of whom would be facing death as the alternative.

To date, Trump has shown a tremendous inability to lead, even his own party. Let's hope it continues.

I appreciate your admitting you didn't follow Trump's campaign.
His entire campaign and presidency is geared towards firing everybody in Congress, regardless of party.

Meglomania is not a sign of leadership, in fact it is the exact opposite. IMO the only way the Republican Party can save itself, and not go the way of the Whigs, is to drop support for Trump, Pence, and Ryan - buy them out - and thus install Rex Tillerson in the Oval Office. My guess is someone who ran Exxon has the expertise Trump does not, and he could quell the chaos Trump's incompetence has created.

The best hope we have is for Trump and Pence to be impeached, and at the time of their conviction and removal form office, the H. of Rep. picks the Sect. of State to be Speaker, and then he would immediaely assume the chair in the oval office.

Trump is ineffective because he’s incompetent.

He has no idea or understanding of what constitutes sound, responsible governance and public policy.

His ridiculous whining about the rules of the Senate are but a recent example – he wants Senate rules ‘changed’ so Republicans can ‘win,’ uncaring of the fact that the failed, wrongheaded conservative agenda will only harm the country and American people.

When you tally up his accomplishments, you can stop at one. The lone accomplishment of his administration has been the appointment of a Supreme Court justice. But, when you consider that lone accomplishment had to be made by trashing the rules of the Senate and going 'nuclear', you can conclude with honesty that Trump's chaos trumps Trump's accomplishments.
