Agree on the public toilets part. You're going in there to pee and poop, usually in private so what's it matter? But allowing children to claim to be opposite-sex is allowing them to be delusional. Sex and gender are different things. Can be any number of different genders having nothing to do with what sex you are. But transgendered people are whatever sex they were when they were born. That can't change. The gender can change being only how you identify yourself as feeling. But SRS doesn't change your sex or your gender, only your appearence.

If it is an athletic event where the gender will have an effect, I agree that it is an issue.

But just an ordinary person changing their gender for personal reasons? Who cares?

If the genders are, in fact, equal, who cares which gender they call themselves? It is their identity. What difference does it make?
