He has faced questions in recent months about a private scholarship foundation he created that had raised more than $880,000 since 2003 without awarding any scholarships. He has defended his handling of the foundation, but didn't mention it during Friday's announcement and didn't take any questions.

I already saw this article and I already posted originally about the scholarship.

According to that article, his wife has some disease that is likely incurable. Hopefully she can recover and or not go painfully.

I agree. I was just wondering how this could impact the tidal wave of seat snatching many GOP supporters on this board have pontificated.
