Indiana calling to ban township government after extraordinary investigation

Indiana will no longer have local township government....hopefully.
After it was found that rampant and widespread misuse of funds were in virtually every county in the entire state. And those they could not find evidence, was because there wasn't any records...the township officials spent the money without recording what they did with it.

In my township, the official paid herself $31,000 and gave out $75,000 to family members.
In total these officials paid out $24.4 million in "poor relief"...but also spent $24.2 million as "overhead". In other words for every dollar they "helped" people - they gave another dollar to themselves.
