India considering bailing on SU-57

I'm not sure how you think that backs up your claims here, I showed a link from 2011 where they were saying they'd get a thousand to form the backbone of their Air Force. The Russian economy tanking and their PAK-FA program running late, expensive, and failing to deliver as promised is what resulted in less ambitious orders for PAK-FA. They are instead forced to keep buying upgrades to their early 80s era SU-27 and calling it a new plane.

But it sill begs the question... you claimed Russia doesn't believe in stealth, and that stealth has no advantages. Yet here you are posting about Russia spending billions trying to develop a stealth aircraft. You're calling yourself a liar.
You do. You are another spasmodic know-it-all. All you article says it that Russia wants to build 1000 stealth fighters over the next decades. There is nothing about how many are for export (except for India) and nothing about how many regular fighters will be build in the same time. You are liar, name caller, know-it-all and dumbass.

Definition of know-it-all = someone who knows enough to call you out on your constant stream of made-up bullshit. Literally everything you type on here is bullshit, it's amazing since one would think you'd eventuallyaccidentally type something true.

The link I posted has a quote from "The T-50 jet will provide the backbone not only of the Russian air force but also that of India" do you know what the word backbone means? I'm not sure you do. Look it up. It definitely discounts your (latest) bullshit that they only planned for a small share to be stealth aircraft.

Any why are you so interested in minimizing Russia's multi-billion dollar commitment to this stealth aircraft? Because you've also claimed that Russia doesn't believe in stealth and that is has no advantages. You cannot explain why a country that doesn't believe in stealth would be planning on the backbone of their air force to be a stealth plane so you pile up lies upon lies

You embarrass yourself.

It's official, India is out:

India withdraws from FGFA project, leaving Russia to go it alone | Jane's 360
The Indian Air Force (IAF) has shelved its 11-year old collaborative Fifth Generation Fighter Aircraft (FGFA) programme with Russia following enduring differences over its developmental cost and technological capabilities. Senior Indian officials, including National Security Adviser Ajit Doval and Defence Secretary Sanjay Mitra, recently informed a visiting Russian ministerial delegation that India was withdrawing from the programme, official sources told Jane’s on 20 April.

This feeble attempt to produce a 5th gen fighter was already a joke, but with India out Russia will have even harder time funding development costs to fix the issues of it having shitty sensors, engines, and stealth. The unit cost will jump, making it even less likely for intl buyers. It's going to end up a massively expensive program that will produce hardly any usable aircraft, USA will probably still have more B-2 bombers than Russia does SU-57s by 2025.

India may want to get on the deal that Lockheed has offered Japan if the US Admin and Congress approves it of the new bird that is the top of the 5th gen tier. The only reason it would be offered would be that the US would be rolling out it's 6th gen fighter. Makes the SU-57 look like the POS it really is.

This is the funniest illustration between a real stealth fighter and the Russian garbage. F-22 has a flat smooth underside with intakes that don't align directly with the engines to hide the signature of the fanblades and shaping to hide the engine output. Russia's masterpiece has engines that line up directly with intakes, big bulging outlines like a 70s vintage fighter, vents on underside that belong on a mobile home air conditioning unit, and ridiculously big metal nozzles that look like were ripped off an F-4 Phantom. What a fucking joke.

This is why the world really isn't interested in the new russian fighters. They want the F-35. Just not all are eligible to buy them or they can't afford them. While back, there was talk about cancelled orders for the soon to be released F-35 and the SU-35, Mig-35 and SU-57 were hot. Today, the F-35 is backlogged while no one is really paying much attention to russias newest fighters.

Yep and Russia is going to instead be stuck leaning on SU-35 as their primary air superiority fighter, which impresses russia-fanboy-retards like BluePeter but is basically a cold war era SU-27 (it even originally had the designation SU-27M) that was meant to be for export and as a stopgap until the mighty SU-57 came online.

I suspect they'll do something with SU-35 to try to make it a bit stealthier like USN is doing with F-18 but bottom line Russia is losing an entire generation of modernization as US and allies will be flying thousands of 5th gen F-35s while they are zipping around in something first produced with countries like East Germany as potential customers.

Be hilarious if Russia had to buy 5th gen fighters from China.

It appears that the followon bird for the F-35 is already on the drawing boards. Thought it would be. And the F-35 ends up being the demonstrator for it. Comparing the F-16 and the F-35: the F-16 started out as a hot rod that grew into a fantastic technical marvel but it reached it's peak. The F-35 starts out as a Technical Marvel that has yet to reach it's peak with the only flight performance increase would be it's engine and that's not an easy thing to do, it's yet to reach it's peak. The year 2030 will be interesting for the F-35s replacement. But the year 2025 to 2030 will be even more interesting for the F-22 replacement. And during that time, Russia will finally bring their SU-57 into full capability, 2 generations late.

As for the Russians buying the Chinese stuff, they might be the only ones. The Chinese stuff are so bad they have trouble even delivering them to their customers. Their dependability is not good and their crash rates are high. Hardly any country is buying Chinese for a reason. They aren't exactly as fearsome as they want anyone to believe. This is why they are one of Russias biggest customers for things like SU-35s and Jet engines.
