Indentured servitude - free market solution to entitlements

    I don't know why the right hasn't suggested this before. An easy way to end entitlements without mass starvation is indentured servitude. People who could not take care of themselves can simply sign themselves over as indentured servants. Their owners would have to see that they were given enough to live, and in exchange, they would have to do whatever the owner told them to. Or whatever sort of contract the free market would bear. The burden to take care of them would then be off the government and on the free market.


    or say you need a surgery or you'll die, but you don't have the money,. You can sell yourself as an indentured servant for life to anyone willing to pay for the surgery, The government then doesn't have to worry about medicaid or medicare or any of that Obamacare crap, the free market would just take care of it.
