The Tax cuts were recently extended for all Americans. I assume since you seem so concerned about the debt that you were fully in favor or not extending the tax cuts for anybody.

When my income goes down I cut non essential bills. I do not increase spending, it does not make sense.

Congress has certainly dropped the ball in the past few years. Few honest people will argue with that. But to answer your first question, Obama's golf game has improved.

1. Re-Authorize the Patriot Act to include Rendition (Torture) aspects of it
2. Increase Federal Deficit to 1.4 Trillion from 500 billion under Bush
3. Kept GITMO open
4. Lead US into a 3rd War
5. Pass ObamaCare that most Businesses want exemptions from.
6. Extend the "Bush Tax Cuts"

Hmm funny but one of the things that pissed me off at bush was his removing the 20% of the population from the Tax roles thus setting up what we see today: More Takers then Givers and those takers demanding even larger amounts being given to them rather then keeping them on the roles to at least have them participate in the process.
